My second fav of Meatloaf's collection. This is just as good as Bad Attitude. A couple of tunes were recorded with the dance scene in mind, but overall an excellent record.

I listened to "Standing on the outside" in the Miami Vice series and it blow me away In general MEAT LOAF is surely a very special act but not THAT much my kind. I own the "Live around the world" 2CD-album and it gets an 8,2/10 from me.

I'm not the biggest Meatloaf fan & apart from the 2 'Bat' discs, this is the only other one I own. This pretty much gets overlooked, which is a shame, as it has some belting tracks on it. I would go so far as to say it's Mr. Loafs finest(AOR)hour. 'Execution Day', 'Rock'n Roll Mercenaries' with John Parr, 'Special Girl'(First heard on Eddie Schwartz's 'Private Life' album, although this is the better version!!) & the superb 'Standing On The Outside' all make this disc well worthy of your time.

No me gusta mucho Meat Loaf, pero me encanta una canción de este disco: MASCULINE. (¿será porque suena a esos discos de aor-rock melódico de los 80? )

1986 y que banda o solista podia resistirse a la Magia de la fuerza Melodica y del AOR por eso 1986 no tiene igual el mejor año de todo el Rock en todos los estilos en general hasta Meat Loaf demostro porque este es el mejor año de toda la humanidad escucha "Rock 'n Roll Hero" "Special Girl" "Getting Away With Murder" y siente toda la Magia que 1986 te puede dar 1986!!! Rules!!!
