Let's be honest: it's a guilty pleasure. Nobody wants to be so uncool as to admit to liking Meatloaf... but you know all the words and so do I, so that's got to mean something. I like this CD but I wouldn't publicly admit it to anyone... whoops! Too late.

If I see a bunch of drunken, strippin girls singing paradise by the dashboard light one more time,I will probably appreicate more the value of this cd.This cd is a mans best friend.

The best CD ever put out. I used to think Boston's self titled CD was but after listening to the complexity of each song this CD has no match whatsoever

Right Rockhits....No One Above, No One Beside, but lots below. this is a classic.

Ah, yes! The joys of getting laid, (or not getting laid). It's cd''s like this that make relationships so painfull. Fabulous menu of musicians. All are top of their heap. "Bat Out Of Hell" needs to go straight to Broadway where it would surely be a smash! Until then I'm not holding my breath. But if you play the "On a hot summer night..." segment backwards it sounds like the voice is saying "Satan, see him follow you." Now there's your bat outta hell with shivvers up your spine!

Pulled this out of the catalogue the other day. We all know the legacy of this monumental album, but what strikes me the most was the powerhouse lineup. Todd Rundgren, Roy Bittan and Max Weinberg from E Street Band, Edgar Winter, the Kulick brothers, wow!

Epic debut by the big man of Rock & Roll ...memorable to say the least..."Two Out of Three Ain't Bad" & "Paradise By the Dashboard Light" are my faves in here.85/100
