The cover is awesome, Meat sounds stronger than ever but seems to peter out somewhere along the way. You can really tell the lack of Stienman on several of the tracks. Still better than the average crap out there today. |

Nikki sixx, Steve vai and Brian may are on this album and realy kick ass. Its realy a heavy album (between hard rock, heavy rock and even some metal) and i think all the songs are great only IF IT AIN BROKE, BRAKE IT is very bad. A real buy or die release for any hard rock fan. |

I wasn't exactly holding out a lot of hope for round 3 of the Bat trilogy, but was extremely (and pleasantly) surprised when it finally arrived. Some of the material has been heard previously on Jim Steinman's 'Bad For Good' & the excellent Pandora's Box discs, but for the majority, this is all new material written by Desmond Child, Nikki Sixx,Diane Warren & Marti Fredriksen. Top tracks inc.the title track,'Alive', the hard and heavy 'In The Land Of The Pig' & the excellent ballad 'Cry Over Me'. |

Not many comments yet for this increible album. I think many hard rock/heavy metal fans are afraid to give this a try, maybe because its MEAT LOAF is to popular and even your parents like this but you MUST GIVE THIS ALBUM A TRY and later you will buy it for shore because its just so increible good. Come on, together we can make BAT OUT OF HELL III sell many many albums. |

I agree with Rene here, becouse I think this is really a great CD, infact it`s remind me ROBBY VALENTINE last work. There are a lot of amazing symphonic bombastic heavy melodic rock songs. Don`t you believe me?, hear BAD FOR GOOD, IT`S ALL COMING BACK TO ME NOW, SEIZE THE NIGHT and THE MONSTER IS LOOSE. I love it!!!!!!!!!! |

To be honest, I didnīt expect such a stunning follow up to the legendary Bat trilogy. Meat Loaf is always in top form performing song by his long time partner JIM STEINMAN. I agree with aorteto this is very much like ROBBY VALENTINE playing his bombastic "Overtures". "Seize The Night" is so unbelievable!!! The mid section break where the choir starts has to be heard to be believed. Other favorites are Back For Good, Alive, What About Love, Blind As A Bat. Piano pomp heaven, ALBUM OF THE YEAR !!! |

A great album even if it does have some boring moments here and there. It is a very very long record and could have done without a couple of tracks, especially the ones which were released already on Pandora's Box and Jim Steinman's solo cd. However "Blind As a Bat" is one of the songs of the year, period. |
