John Porter McMeans is former mainmain of 70's Southern rock band "Thunder". They released two albums of slick but good southern rock. Tracks of the mini-CD feature 4 songs previously done with Thunder and two new tracks.

First track is pretty cool, but the rest I could have lived without.

Straighforward solid AOR here. The cd cover is pretty cool with McMeans blowing up the building behind him. I prefer my music a little harder though wich is why I didn't dig this that much. Very tough to find these days.

the first 3 songs are just pretty average Rock, the last 3 songs are quiet songs and the best of this album IMO. "Baby I'm No Fool" wow beautiful ballad! my fav track here, "I'm Alright" another good track. 7.8/10

For me this is a really cool release..is like a mix of 38 Special,ZZ Top and Chicago!!!..southern rock influences really marked and AOR sparks..."Vigilante Man" great opening track,"Easy Street" and with a nice beat,"Baby I'm No Fool" is a really nice softy song & "I'm Alright" is another hot shot..solid voice by Mr Porter...get it,period!.91/100
