The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Jimmy Martin CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Jimmy Martin are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Very high quality solo release from the ex-Fisc vocalist, which sees a change in direction from Euro-Metal to poppy AOR. "Drivin' Through the Rain" is the same track "Driving Through America" on Steve Thompson's album, and is probably the highlight, but there's barely a filler track on here. I'm not a big fan of the ballads, and there are too many, but if you love smooth AOR with plenty of keys this is worth tracking down. Great vocals too. 8.5/10.

I bought this after a review in an old AOR magazine over here in the U.K. called Frontiers. It's a pretty cool CD and as Tim(2) points out Drivin' Through the Pouring Rain is probably the best track on the release but the title track runs it a close second. I find after a while though the songs start sounding a little samey BUT they are all good songs! Don't know what he did after this but I have seen a CD single called Angels doing the rounds. Not sure if it is off a second album or not.

Hey Nick C, I used to work for FRONTIERS magazine so it was probably my review you saw first-time around too!

Great mag...I've still got all the copies printed from when when it was a kind of a2 size then it went up to A4 didn't it. I used to subscribe to it! Was always great getting it thru the post. I'll have to dig it out and reread the review. I think you said something like had the CD been released in the mid 80's then it would have been played all over the radio. Loved the mag...I grab Fireworks now since it's demise...besides if I didn't buy it Bruce would duff me over!

Yeah, had a good time working on the mag. Got to do some good interviews too (including the first one with the 'new' Marcie Free). You'll see my name (Tim Robertson) reviewing most of the softer side of AOR, and I used to get tons of free CDs! Fireworks is great, but a bit more diverse, as it has to be these days...

Very Good of course, despues de los comentarios de los grandes expertos de arriba no hay mucho por decir, el Rythmn Of Life es una pasada con Fisc Jimmy dejo buenos trabajos tambien como el Too hot for love, en fin este disco gustara sin duda y la puntuacion de Tim(2) es precisa.

Pleasant release with some friendly AOR tracks in it..."Drivin' Through The Pouring Rain","Kids Of The Rockin' Nation"(nice AOR),"Hold On To The Night"(nice mid tempo),"Love Me Or Leave Me","When You Smile"(nice),"I Want You To Want Me"(decent Cheap Trick cover)& "Love The Night Away" are my faves...recommended...88/100
