excellent album this one!!.with the help of robert pasp of dominoe fame dan lucas has delivered a collection of songs that even the most hardened aor freak couldnt resist.it's just one great track after another without giving you enough time to breathe and that to me is a good sign of a great record...if you havent heard of dan lucas before go grab this if you can(its a bit hard to find these days)its worth the money youll have to pay for believe me!.

this is really an aor masterpiece..even the Donna summer cover is very good..excellent album..favorite song? difficult cos i actually like em all, even the 'anthem' 'canadian dream'..excellent disc..if you're into aor..you'll agree..

Trully an AOR masterpiece!!!I have one copy of the album but I would appreciate to buy it once more to keep it on my collection but its very rare to find it (I dont understand why). This album is excelent and also liked and enjoyed the cover song 'Hot Stuff' by Donna Summer.

From: roxcc1tiy Date: December 6, 2004 at 13:43
The word 'masterpiece' is thrown around a lot with this one and rightfully so! Great performances from the former Karo lead singer. Hard to believe it's the same guy really! Where Karo was sort of 'candied' metal, this is pure AOR all the way! And when you can translate Donna Summer into AOR/rock and pull it off, you're good! So is this release! Love it bunches! 9.5/10!

From: Axe-Machine Date: December 12, 2005 at 17:40
Now...here we have an absolute classic. The Fire, Into The Night and the instantly likeable Someones Girl are just a few of the prime cuts to savour from this delicious album. Shame he blew it with the '2000!' release, but thankfully he left us this gem. Strong production, nice keys and quality guitar playing along with an excellent voice make for a good listen. Brilliant. 9.5/10.

I dont wanna say more but to BUY this GEM before its too late...that album needs to be in your collection to listen to it every single morning...if you need more about this cd please contact me at wildangelfree69@hotmail.com Dont forget to have that album is A MUST TO HAVE!!!

From: juan carlos Date: November 1, 2008 at 1:08
Truly a Classic AOR album. I had the chance to buy the re-edition(Thanx a lot NL Distribution!!) at last. 14 tracks plus 5 bonus, what else can i ask for?. "The Movie - If You Need Me" "The Fire" "Coming Home"(àla Dominoe/Cheap Trick on the chorus) "Canadian Dream"(Total Feeling!! and what a lyrics!) and "Hold On Me" are my Favorites. My advice: Buy it at all cost. 9.5/10

From: liq Date: November 28, 2009 at 10:43

Wow is all I say about this one, what a strong album, it's not essential for fans of the genre; but truely quintessential.

From: Doug Date: January 11, 2019 at 19:21
This dude won "The Voice, Senior" in Germany. Being here in the U.S., I don't know much about him, but the clip I saw [and heard] from him singing Heart's "Alone" was excellent, IMO.

From: tomdwa Date: May 22, 2020 at 16:14
Indeed a very good aor-album, it doesn't sound at all as it's from a german artist. The quality of the songs is high, with these tracks on top of the heap: Someone's girl, the anthemic Canadian dream, The fire and I'm sailing.
