| Well I found this hard to get into. But I did salvage the fact I payed $20 on this because I LOVE the tune 'Nightmare'. I haven't listened to this album closely enough lately to rate it, but overall I wouldn't say it's much above any average CD. There's no big hooks or catchy choruses, but the music is emotionally charged, which is cool. I'm making a mental note to try and get into this one more time and write a proper review.

| Good solid melodic hard rock. As noted, it is a lot heavier than the previous releases, and is nowhere near as good as 'Open invitation'. Still, I like it a lot. The title track is great and elsewhere it's consistent melodic hard rock - even though it is not as instantly catchy as their earlier stuff. Worlds better than what followed though...

| Hey guys I bought this cd too and I sold it.I think that this says a lot about the cd.If you like grunge sounds and instrumentals then you may like it.If you want the best ROKO cds buy the debut and open invitation but go no further.It is better to remember a great band by their finest work and the debut is one of the greatest hard melodic rock masterpieces of all time.Every song is a killer on the self titled album.Think about tomorrow depressed me and boy do I HATE GRUNGE.

| Quizás sea pq conocí a este grupo con este disco pero a mi me parece fantástico. Como han dicho otros compañeros no se trata de un disco con canciones pegadizas pero se aprecia el sentimiento en cada uno de los temas. Hazte con él! Maybe I say this because this was the first release of the band that I heard but I think it's a great CD. It isn't a catchy songs CD but it's full of feeling. You'd better own it!!! (8'5/10)

| I consider Roko one of the best hard rock bands out in Germany,their first 2 cd's are in my top 20 cd indeed.This one is not bad,solid hard rock,great prodution,maybe 2 fillers but the rest is very good but not at the top as their origin IMO.Some riffs here are great,expecially in"stranger warrior","nightmare"and"lonely"(great change of time here!).Roko are great and will be awesome forever!!

| A weak singer is making weak songs. sorry, but Roko never were one of the best rock bands out of germany. You should better try (Pink Cream 69, Karo, old Domain stuff, Zeno, Adean, old Bonfire ...)

| In the same league of Pink Cream 69's "Food For Thoughts" and (Swedish) Masquerade's "Surface Of Pain".They are not really Grunge but,yes,they are modern style of Hard Rock.

Still an acceptable release but obviously far from reaching the status of their previews 2 albums...my faves are "Stranger Warrior","Nightmare","Think About Tomorrow","Lady"(nice acoustic),"Wrouummm"(excellent rocking' instrumental) & "Leave This Way"(also rocks!)...nothing else 2 add...86/100
