If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular AD CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from AD are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

This would be a great intro album for anyone not yet familiar with the great (sometimes progressive) rock of AD. The tunes included here are from the group's 2nd & 3rd offerings, Art of the State & Reconstructions. The group started out as the back-up for song writer/guitarist/keyboardist Kerry Livgren's second solo album, Time Line. They enjoyed playing together so much that they simply decided to remain a band. Thoughtful lyrics, intricate melodies and top notch musicianship mark their albums.

Oh dear. I really wanted to love this album. Kerry Livgren has such amazing talent, but for the most part it is totally wasted here. Kinda like Livgren felt the need to sound like some sort of nasty Kansas/Duran Duran hybird! Ouch.

Genius songwriter Livgren made some of the most unmemorable music of his career with AD, before bottoming out with the new age disaster "One of Several Possible Musiks". Taking highlights from two albums ("Art of the State" and "Reconstructions") might lead you to believe the track listing would be water-proof, but there's still a lot of 'skip button' opportunites. While it's not all bad, it has a fairly cold feel throughout. A lot of icy professionalism, without much heart.
