Pretty sanitized pop/rock, with all the tricks of the trade circa 1984 including electronic drums and an army of keyboards. Very dated sounding today, but some of the writing reminds me of vintage Kansas... at least more so than Steve Walsh's Streets from the same era!

Still an excellent album, after all these years, Time Line is a hard driving rock album with excellent musicianship, well crafted songs with lyrics that make you think. Although the sound is different than Kansas (D Hope & K Livgren left that band to form AD), it should appeal to those who appreciate the cerebral rock of Kerry Livgren.

the messages still resonate from this, this is my favorite K.L. effort. I hope he is doing well after his stroke. Get well Kerry.
