GOOD CD 79/100 GREAT INSTRUMENTAL fusion GUITAR SHRED/CHOPS/LICKS FEST Before this one ,everybody(the non-guitar expert) was thinking that MR MACALPINE was just an YNGWIE MALMSTEEN clone ; but this was a violent slap in their ugly faces This CD stand as the first evidence that TONY was a true acomplished musician with a lot of capacities and a lot of skill in every music genre (JAZZ ROCK/FUSION/NEO CLASSIC/SHRED/AOR)later you can find all that musical POWER in C.A.B. very GOOD |

Very Good Instrumental album by the Great Tony sin duda uno de los mejores y mis favoritos en las 6 cuerdas como casi todos sus trabajos de buenos para arriba este disco le hago un comentario especial debido a que contiene un corte que aparte de ser el mejor del album trae un titulo especial para los Peruanos hay muchos cortes que traen como titulo algo referente a nuestro pais siendo Espaņa y Mexico los que mas tienen pero Peru no se queda atras estaria como en tercer lugar eso me gusta |

This man is one of the Gods, but Tony was experimenting a little bit too much on this album IMHO. Sure, he has done similiar stuff later on his career, but the first three albums are all masterpieces compared to this. I mean, just look at the song titles. Serious stuff, right ; ) There is about 5 good ones here after all. |

A different approach for Tony here. Albert's Fat Sister is a jazz-infused melodic journey with some nice saxophone thrown in; Restaurant At the End of the Universe is quite bluesy and laid back, Houses in Motion is melodic bliss and definitely one of my favourites while Muffin Bandits another highlight and a throwback to his earlier solo work. Don't be put off by the experimental side here as there's plenty of shredding too. |
