Without doubt one of the most exciting albums of the Instrumental Guitar history

From: Trybalvibe Date: February 17, 2002 at 9:25
Classic!!!!!!This album and Yngwie's "Rising Force" were the two all-time best prog-metal albums ever.

From: Phantazm Date: July 22, 2002 at 23:22
Only reason i even know about McAlpine is from my bud that went to G.I.T. in L.A. and used to axe with him. He was truly one of the best.

An industrious instrument show. But hey, where is his next album "Maximum Security"?

i think that the first 2 comments are enough. This album is one of the best instrumental albums ever

From: Xabofar Date: June 1, 2003 at 13:40
Brilliant instrumental music from the "Varney School" in the vein of Joey Tafolla (Out of the Sun) or Vinnie Moore (mind´s Eye and Time Odyssey. Search also the second from Mr. Macalpine (Maximum security) because is equally brilliant than this

I've always been a T.M. fan and Sheehan/Smith are incredible as well! I am a sound engineer and I've ran sound for Steve Smith with "Vital Information", it's just exciting to hear these guys play together even after all of these years.

From: Metalhead Date: August 31, 2004 at 14:17
If you've already heard Yngwie's Rising Force, then what the hell do people need another one of this?

From: KickYourFace Date: June 23, 2005 at 17:09
The song "The Witch and the Priest" is incredible! Take my word for it. It is rediculously catchy & I RARELY even like instrumental songs... It's worth buying that CD just for that song.
