| Another "super-band" collaboration set forward here in this release that features many recognizable names; Soto, Thal, Sheehan, Sherinian & Portnoy. Mixed bag of Dream Theater-esque related Prog-Metal-Rock fused music here. Interesting release, has a lot of great moments to them, a little odd to hear Sheehan play this type of music...but with Sheehan and Portnoy being 2/3 of Winery Dogs in this band there is a chemistry already between the two that identifies their abilities which plays off one another well with Sherinian complimenting in the keyboard/Synth department. This album suites JSS voice/style a lot more than his previous band outings "SOTO" (which I was personally not keen on). If you can get passed the whole Dream Theater parallels here, then this is a good album to listen too, even though it is a short album - 2 instrumentals tracks out of 9...really walks the line of being an E.P. versus an official L.P. (IMO). HIGHLIGHT TRACKS: #2,3,5,6.....MY RATING: 84/100.

| "Coming Home" is a great tune, and the rest is good too, but as mentioned above, the album is just way too short. And with two instrumentals, one a mere 1 minute of keyboard only riffing, the overall value of this release is diminished.

| totally agree with nobycane74 ,overall a good prog metal rock fused release with an expected excellent musicianship but somehow the songs arent so strong and the whole sound is overdone and sometimes is too much!"alive" and "god of the sun " are the highlights !
