Trying to get online. Ive had hell the last month. My PC has been down and out several times. Well my review is on this release. Its on the SWEET cd called Sweet Funny Adams. Its far better than any release by Motley Crue. Poison, Cinderella, and many other bands. Any true metal/glam fan should get this. |
From: TIM | Date: October 7, 2002 at 15:00 |
I highly disagree with you there Kim. |

Sweet try and check out the b side of Hellraiser called Burning one of the and still best guitar solo's I have ever heard .awesome solo for the time it was out it's untouchable and the drumming to ok the songs a take of zeps immigrant song but you have to hear that solo........not much better then this..................grew up with this band and they kicked ass when they were heavy |

Its still NOT here. But I highly recomend the Sweet album Sweet Fanny Adas, which is a high octane, hard rockin' album, Its just as good as any on my Top 10 list. #10. Get it or be forever deaf.....:-) |

In the 70s this band were probably just a bit too good for your average uneducated American ears which seemed to me to belong to persons who had been musically brought up to class anything with a slightly distorted guitar on it as Rock music. True British Quality. Couldn't agree more with Dex regarding the solo in 'Burning'. As a 13 year old at the time it was this track/solo that made me want a guitar and a bloody loud amp. |

You`d better beware, You`d better take care, You`d better watch out if you`ve got long Black Hair. This band made the hardest rockin` string of UK singles ever !!! DO NOT doubt this. The freaky fuck on bass was cool too. When i got older i realized they were just trying to rip off Deep Purple. BUT THEY WERE 10 X BETTER.! Never mind the solo on `Burning`, it`s got the greatest metal RIFF ever !! These aren`t opinions, they are facts.....& there was no better drummer than Mick Tucker. Solidsarock. |

I dont have THIS album, but as a compilation, i can review easily. I first meet Sweet 2-3 years ago, and i can remember well cause few days after i meet his sound, i knew that Mick Tucker died... Since this im collecting every album of them and AS Sweet and BC Sweet. I can tell you all: LOTS of good songs, lot of good riffs, like on this compilation. They have something that make me remember a bit of Uriah Heep, but with a heavier and glammer approach. Set Me Free is a hard rock classic! |

What Else To Say About one of the best HARD ROCK BANDS EVER??!!! They're f***in' great!!!!!!!!!! I got a rare cd called Hell Raisers, that just kickz ass, rare versions, live versions from BBC Sessions, this album roxx, SWEET RULEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep the fire burnin'!!! |
From: BIG-TIME | Date: May 19, 2007 at 10:34 |
This is complete CRAP and to GlamThug better than Deep Purple NO F***ing WAY. This is Prog Rock stuff like Hawkwind, with those stupid drum solo's through out the song renownd for the 70's, twangy guitar's with no amplification like the 70's. If you liked the 70's hard rock scene like Purple, Sweet and Slade good for you, but stay away if you only like 80's rock like Firehouse, Gypsy Rose, Europe, Treat and so on...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!! |
From: sluss528 | Date: August 30, 2007 at 0:03 |
