This 1989 Album is in my opinion Leviticus's Best. The Songs: Over the Hills, OH Lord, Isn't it Love, & For Once in My Life...really move the soul. I rate this album an 8.5 out of 10.

I agree with Harry 100%! Absolutely a great album by these guys. Don't miss out on this one!!

I agree this was a definite Rocker for Leviticus. A Rockin album for sure that was produced in 1989. Look for bjorn stiggson solo album entitled with Friends.

From: JasonH Date: December 2, 2002 at 18:22
Agreed,,this is probably the most underrated CCM band from the 80s. The Bjorn Stiggson album didnt really impress me though,,too simplistic.

Got this cd many years ago in a christian book store.Too bad the christian faithful didn't support this kind of music that often.I like this one alot, never have heard there 1st one though.Stryper,Barren Cross, and leviticus convinced me christian metal had to be heard !dolphins13magic@aol.com

I like this cd very much, maybe if they had a better singer this cd should rock much more!2/3 spngs are killer, strong and catchy refrains, but totally is a good cd,IMO.

THE ONLY TRACK THAT IMPRESS ME IS OVER THE HILLS,BIG RIFFS AND CHORUS. ANYONE PLEASE ABOUT THE DEBUT ALBUM?

From: Vincenzo Date: June 19, 2006 at 12:22
Splendido affresco di scandi-aor. "Over The Hills" è clamorosa mentre la 2 e la 6 seguono subito a ruota. Christian hard rock al meglio. www.hardnheavy.it

Great melodic CCM release. This has everything you could want in a melodic release. Good hooks and chorus', my only drawback may be on the vocals as it may take some time for some people to get use to the Swedish accent. I put it again in the second tier of CCM rock behind the likes of age of Angels, Stryper, Mastedon, Whitecross and X-Sinner. Leviticus is has a lighter sound than any of the aforementioned groups. 77/100

2nd release from the band named after the 3rd book in the Bible. Not exactly a night-and-day departure from the sound of their debut, merely sacrificing a little heaviness in favor of a more polished, commercial sheen. Of course, all that really matters is whether or not the songs are memorable, and if anything, the band cranked up the catchiness coefficient on this album, crafting some really cool choruses to go along with the blazing riffs. Not top-tier stuff within the Christian metal community, but definitely toward the high end of the second tier. In other words, it may not be Heaven, but it's definitely knocking on the gates...
