Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

If you notice that a particular Leviticus CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Leviticus are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

For some reason, Scandinavian bands don't deliver the goods. I've been burned by Charizma, Narnia, and (now) Leviticus. There must be something in the water to explain how these bands could write such forgettable music? I'd heard Leviticus were pioneers in Christian '80's rock. Pioneers, maybe. Average, definitely. Their music just rolls along with no great melodies, riffs, or hooks that will keep the listener coming back. Overrated, is how I'd describe Leviticus. No more Scandy bands for me! |

Leviticus are awesome, and like other Scandinavian bands, have a sense of harmony and lace it with commitment and skill. This older album is truly a treasure of early Christian metal. The lyrics contain a very personal drive towards the lifestyle of a Christian warrior and the song writing is catchy and original. Buy it! |

I'm sorry to hear that "Cephas"(above)was disappointed by Leviticus's I SHALL CONQUER album. My advice to Cephas or anyone else who is not satisfied with certain Leviticus's albums or songs, is to sample all of their albums first and then be the judge. I Shall Conquer came out in 1984' on LP and Cassette, but I believe that Leviticus didn't really make a name for themselves until their two follow up albums-"Setting Fire to the Earth" & "Knights Of Heaven" came out in the Late 80s. Buy them All! |

Average CCM HardRock/Metal. I like "Let Me Fight" "I Shall Conquer" and "Folj mig"(bonus), then thereīre boring songs so i donīt like the whole album at all. 7/10 |
