Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

the nights is the second good surprise of this summer ,with kryptonite.this record is a super mix of sturm und drang, reckless love and free spirit.this band is a brilliant newcomer in the world of the scandi a o r s new wawe.this realise is very strong and very consistant.no fillers at the horizon.all songs are musically rich, varied and really excellent.sami hyde is a remarkable singer and the production is very great.we have all the ingredients for a perfect recipe.i recommand the japan import cause we have an excellent bonus track.it s a sublime version of "hold on" (track 6).one more time this cd proove that finland is the best country of the world for melodic rock.it s amazing that this little country ,totally in the north of europe, could have many many fabulous a o r bands.in france we have....nothing in melodic rock. |

Totally agreed with charpenay, having been living in France for 10years, I found that French people are more into electro stuff or more darker and heavier form of metal music than classic aor/hard rock. I collected aor/ hard rock CDs for dacades, and honestly there are so few French musicians/ band out of them, especially recent days. Most well known one from nowadays would be one man band A.O.R. and that’s all I can name without looking up the website, what a shame. Even fewer and fewer hard rock/classic rock band choose France as a stop for live tour.... |
