Don't forget Bruno from Danger Danger

From: Tony Date: April 18, 2002 at 9:06
Just brilliant. For this type of music (TNT meets Journey??) what more do you want? Worth every penny and great songs.

From: Date: July 12, 2002 at 11:45
This cd is outstanding, I am not crazy about tracks 9 & 10 but the rest of the cd is awesome. Their new disc 'Skin' is just as good if not better!

I have a song off of the Point Break soundtrack called 'So Long Cowboy.' It was done by a band called Westworld. I don't think it was these guys though because the band on my soundtrack has a female singer. There must have been two bands called Westworld????? By the way, that soundtrack came out in 1991 and this album came out in 1999. Hell, I don't know??

From: Monkey Nuts Date: January 9, 2003 at 20:09
Anyone who doesn't have the new CD, Cyberdreams, is really missing out. A definite Top 5 for me in 2002!

From: Steve Fix Date: April 5, 2003 at 4:39
A surprisingly good disc. The mostly mid-tempo,driving rythms are just hard enough for metalheads like myself but,the chorus'are tamed down to a melodic pace.Tony Harnell's excellent vocals are soft at the right times and he knows exactly when to put some edge on.Mark Reale's striking guitar work is as sharp as ever.Anyone who likes TNT(Tony),or Riot(Mark)must get a copy of this one.Two follow-ups'Skin'and'Cyberdreams'plus a live release should be heard as well.My rating is 9.75 out of 10.

From: Rycheage Date: July 9, 2003 at 21:09
This is a very solid hard rock album with hints of classic TNT, 4 The Hard Way style Danger Danger and a great emphasis on technical and precise playing and production. And appealing diversity without losing the general melodic thread of the album's style.

From: ROB GARCIA Date: February 2, 2004 at 15:32
oh yeah!!...what a crackin' release this is .this sounds more like TNT than firefly or transistor ever did.if you love listening to some excellent melodic rock with towering riffs the look no further 'cause this is what youre looking for.take it from me!.

From: MARK EARLE Date: May 8, 2004 at 12:42
A CRACKING RELEASE IS`NT THE WORD.. ITS A F**KN GEM!!

From: mr. savatage Date: May 9, 2004 at 7:04
Just brilliant - has all the melody you might want from an album plus terrific vocal performance from Tony, great guitarwork from Mark and great songs. If you don't have this one you miss a lot.Go grab it!!!

From: Big Papa K Date: June 30, 2004 at 17:00
I never saw the big deal with this band. I am a fan of Riot, TNT, and Danger Danger, so maybe I was expecting too much. This is a solid mid-tempo album, but not as great as some have made it out to be. 7/10

From: spiritcarrieson Date: August 7, 2004 at 0:38
I just discovered this band and I rank them in my top 10!

From: Geoff Date: August 17, 2004 at 0:52
Having heard all three magnificent Westworld releases I can still firmly say that this is, as they say, the original and the best! I love this CD - everything about it! 'Illusions' is the best introduction to a band you could ask for, 'I Belong' is IMO the best song they have ever recorded, 'Shame' is a massive ballad - beautiful, and another fave, 'Ivory Towers' is a splendid track and overall the songs are just spectacular. A truly excellent album. 9/10

From: ret-rocker Date: February 14, 2005 at 22:37
I don't think this band ever hit the mark on any CD. And it's a shame to see ppl hype them, tnt, riot, and the lzards just because they know them.... The cd is just ok. Not any better...

From: Big Mike Date: February 17, 2005 at 11:36
WW might be a supergroup but TNT and Danger Danger's stuff is way better. However Suicide is a great ballad.

From: CC Date: February 24, 2005 at 19:02
Just to let Jason know that yes there was another band called Westworld, their most famous song was Sonic boom boy,and they featured ex-Generation X guitarist Bob Andrews.

From: z4roxx Date: March 3, 2005 at 9:05
Very average cd.I like the first 2 tracks, decent tunes, and the ballad has a ery good refrain. The rest is pretty average and nothin'else.Their last cd'Cyberdreams'is by far their best,IMO.Don't speak anymore about'Skin',definetely not my kind of music(for not sayin'that is s***).

From: erik Date: September 21, 2009 at 16:06
Very very average indeed. You can put together some great musicians but that doesnot need to result in a good cd. This is a very good example. No fire in it. Nothing special. No songs that stand out. No hooks. Uninspired songs imo. Listen to this for what is: average at best. Overhyped indeed. 50/100
