One of the best Greatest Hits packages I've heard. Even the sequencing is spot on.

'Girl cant help it' is my favorite Journey song. I also love ' Ask the Lonely' 'I'll be alright without without you' and 'Be good to yourself' I like all the songs on this marvelous greatest hits compliation. But the ones I have mentioned are my personal favorites.

'Ooooooooooooo Anytime that you want me...................... Ooooooooooooo Anytime that you need me.................' Now what in the hell is the name of that song and why in the hell isn't it on their greatest hits!!? AND why in the hell isn't 'Stone In Love' on their greatest hits as well!!? ARE THOSE NOT GREAT SONGS!? Those two are better than any other Journey.

It is called ANYTIME and is off Infinity. It connects to the song FEELING THAT WAY which I think is missing from this cd also.In my opinion, they should have never done a greatest hits anyways.

All of your Journey favorites in one place. Cool. Until you start realizing that Journey had a LOT more great songs. 'Stone in Love' (how right you are Jason!), 'Anytime' (as both Knuckles & Jason were quick to point out), 'Feeling That Way' (Knuckles again), 'Just the Same Way', 'Do You Recall', etc. Ultimately, if you are a new Journey fan, you will outgrow this CD in favor of the catalog albums & if you are an old Journey fan, you've already got all these songs on the individual CDs. Hmmm...

'Open Arms' will always be my favorite. 'Be Good To Yourself' is also great. I think they did an excellent job choosing songs for this album. They'd lose money on their other albums if they included every hit they had. No one would buy their old stuff. That would be a huge mistake on Journey's part.

Personally, I'd take any song on this album above 'Stone In Love.' It's not bad by any means but is not among my favorites.

Typically, the record companies release the 'Greatest Hits' cd's. They are based on slaes of the specific singles or radio airplay. The 'Best Of's' are ones that the actual band puts out and the songs that they think represent them the best. Sometimes the Greatest and Best of's are very similar, but in alot of cases, I've seen many differences. Warrant never wanted to record the song Cherry Pie, but the record company pushed and pushed for it. they released it as the single and it did great.

You're right T-Bone. Some artists have lots of talent but not great decision making ability. You look at Motley Crue, Van Halen, Scorpions, Boston, etc.. and you know they had other hits. The record companies generally make the wisest choices for sales purposes, but they have slipped in some cases.

Its good to see that so many Journey fans have so many comments to make about likes and dislikes about the hits album but as Koogles has already said any diehard will have them all anyway but if you are new to the majestic sounds of the band you will have to buy the back catalog and make up your own mind, but you will be buying into a piece of music history and thats worth every penny any Journey fan who has the lot will tell you go and find some real music Son take yourself on a Journey!!!.

Even if you already have all their albums, there are a couple of soundtrack songs on this that weren't on any other Journey album. Ties up some loose ends.

WHERE IS AFTER THE FALL? A shame to miss this fantastic song, which is also on of journey's hit (charted the same position as SEND HER MY LOVE, #23, and was picked before as single). Also I miss SUZANNE (#17). With those 2 songs, there was enough space for it this would have been a real GREATEST HITS COMPILATION. But you have to be ignorant to not pick AFTER THE FALL on a Journey Greatest Hits.
