If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Journey CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Journey are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

This is awsome live JOURNEY! No cover ups, straight live, and the amazing thing is that this IS how Steve and the Boys sound live, and you cannot put no one elses vocals to Steve Perry, and if you think you can, you know nothing of music!!!!!

From: Amy Redding Date: May 17, 2001 at 13:10
Great live set from the band featuring all the good stuff. Anybody who likes rock will go for this one.

From: Gary Boole Date: July 22, 2001 at 21:30
I find this album over produced and too polished for a live album. The must have made lots of overdubs in the studio on this one. I like a live album to have a live feel, not a studio album with crowd noise in between.

From: koogles Date: January 2, 2002 at 16:51
Irritating, by the sheer fact that this SHOULD have been a live album from the Trial By Fire tour that never ended up happening. A much needed live document that picks up where "Captured" left off.

From: Rockforever Date: September 3, 2002 at 16:41
At last a live record from Journey to follow up 1980's 'Captured', this time having all the post-Escape hits getting live renditions. The band are as tight a live unit as you could imagine, while Neal's axework,Jonathan's lush keys, and especially Steve's magnificent voice are all displayed perfectly.

From: Gar Date: February 14, 2003 at 19:50
What more can I say? A must have for Journey fans.

From: Blaine Date: February 6, 2004 at 13:49
I'll have to check this CD out for myself. It has all the songs that I enjoy listening to. I always liked Jonathan Cain's keyboard playing and Steve Perry's vocals.

From: giorgos-greece Date: July 15, 2004 at 11:30
AOR music was made to make people enjoy themselves and express their emotions ,happy or sad.It was made to be performed LIVE!This is a cd that proves that fact."studio" greatest hits is nothing compared to this one.If you had to choose ,you should try this one.

From: Propane Date: December 2, 2004 at 20:51
This one is not a "Great" live album but I suppose a must have for the hardcore fan.

From: Geoff Date: February 10, 2005 at 4:26
This one wasn't so bad either. Just can't see what made this band so big though. Some decent songs IMO, but none that blow me away here - and this is the first time I've heard 95 percent of them too.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: January 18, 2010 at 17:23
All time classics in a single album...what else can i say...with the mighty Steve Perry on vocals...just get it!.100/100

From: juan carlos Date: July 18, 2010 at 19:11
I´m with Gary Boole here, don`t get me wrong because i love Journey but this live album sounds very over-produced with lots of overdubs. This is not a true live concert imo. I love the songs, the voice, i love JOURNEY, but this live concert is over-produced, sorry. 8.8/10

From: rick kerch vzla Date: July 18, 2010 at 20:10
Basically this was a farewell album to the mighty Steve Perry!!!..so it has to be polished and over produced..in fact the album is named "Greatest Hits Live" is not considered a "real" live album..even though some albums named "Greatest Hits Live"(Foreigner named one like this too)are like some kind of farewell albums to (usually) lead singers,Foreigner did it rawly but Journey did not..depends on how you see it..if you want to listen a real live album of the band then listen to "Captured"....

From: hair metal again Date: June 2, 2011 at 1:20
fantastic live release,it sounds so perfect and smooth!i m very happy with the song selection also which i think it s complete.not much to say this is a must have for sure ,the band was astonishing back then
