As with anything else, there is no album that will appeal to absolutely everyone. However, for me, this is a contender for one of the greatest AOR albums ever made. Consistently melodic, with just the right balance of guitars, keys, power, and emotion. While clearly demonstrating an 80s flavor, it's done in such a way as to make it seem somewhat timeless. My top picks are 'Holding On', 'Different State of Mind', 'Christina', and 'Miracle', although the rest of the album is extremely strong. In addition to the novelty of having Jim Jidhed's son on the mike; his uncanny resemblance to his father also gives the album a feeling of 'Alien reborn' (Debut album era). Creye is one of my top AOR albums of the last decade. :-) |

Not only one of the best records from 2018 but also one of the best from the last two decades. Production, musicianship and everything else are done with mastery. 13 top notch tracks, not a single filler. Lead singer Robin is the son of legendary singer Jim Jidhed. His influences on his father and the band Alien are very noticeable. In fact the album does sound as a follow-up to the 1988 debut. If you love Alien, H.E.A.T, The Defiants, buy it!! |

Was expecting a lot after reading reviews and comments. However to my ears it's fairly standard AOR with the better songs being in the middle of the disc. I'm not a massive fan of the singer as his voice is pretty bland. A few catchy tunes, some fillers so to compare this to the excellent H.E.A.T and The Defiants is way off the mark. |
