Haven't heard this in years! Great CD, power rock anthems and ballads. Tight rythmns and harmonies; These guys had a blast making this album. Five Bucks!?! it's a steal!!! Songs will stick in your head for years, I'm not even a metal head. BUY IT.

From: musicminer Date: September 1, 2001 at 14:24
Had the opportunity to work with these guys during the 'Step On It' tour. Producing thier show was a blast. I have it on live video. They totally ROCK! www.music-mining.bigstep.com

From: koogles Date: October 22, 2002 at 10:53
These guys are trying to hard to be Faith No More or Living Color or Fishbone. What results in a bit of a mess.

From: Gringo Date: December 19, 2002 at 20:28
I agree. I wasted my hard-earned dollar on this one!

From: benjamin Date: February 20, 2003 at 2:55
is this a christian metal band?

From: M. Allen Date: February 20, 2003 at 5:21
Yes, JET CIRCUS is a Christian hard rock band. Unfortunately, while I'm sure their hearts were right, they weren't blessed with much talent. Their "unique" approach just didn't work very well, at least not within the "confines" of hard rock or metal. This CD can be obtained pretty easily and cheaply, but personally, I would rather have my eyes torn out by insane clowns than listen to this album again. "Step On It"? More like stepped in it...

From: Desslar Date: February 20, 2003 at 8:09
This album is a bizaare mismash of clashing sounds. The straight hard rock numbers like "Jet Blue" and "Step on it" are solid if unexceptional, but the dance-like numbers such as "Victory Dance" are just weird. Basically Stryper on acid.

I've had this album for over 10 years, everytime I plug it in I have a hard time not tapping my toe and then eventually head banging. I love the variety keeps it from sounding the same throughout. Great Job Jet Circus for standing out and being original. I'll be a fan for a long time!

From: Don Date: May 10, 2003 at 14:28
Absolutely awful. One of the worst CD's I've ever purchased.

They Sucks!!!

From: Fat Freddy Date: January 5, 2004 at 18:52
Had this CD for a number of years, couldn't really get into it so I finally traded it away. Very strange mix of hard rock and industrial dance, not unlike what Shotgun Messiah did on their "Violent New Breed" album, although Jet Circus wasn't as heavy or angry sounding. The cover of the 50s song "Be Bop A Lula" was certainly bizarre, I assume it was supposed to be a joke that didn't quite translate?

hmm...I guess I was one of the few that actually liked them...I guess you had to experience them first hand...kinda like Willy Wonka, I never saw that movie til last year...and I hated it.

JET CIRCUS RULES!

From: Dan Friml Date: May 7, 2004 at 7:14
Just bought this one today... Interesting cross between 70's and 90's hardrock with some samples. It's cool!

From: Geoff Date: February 5, 2005 at 16:54
Take good note of Koogles' and M. Allen's comments above on this one if you won't believe me (Especialy M.Allens ). This is a musical tragedy. I don't know how to classify this... other than just plain and simply as crap. I hate to be so blatant about music, but in this case there's no way around it. Atrocious songs and you cannot listen without sincerely wondering what they were trying to do??? 0.1/10

From: david Date: May 6, 2005 at 15:42
Malo hasta decir basta. horrible. lo peor que se ha hecho en Suecia, no hay por donde cogerlo. A los que lo poneis bien el disco, os pagan algo los del grupo?? porque tiene cojones

From: aTomiK Date: February 12, 2007 at 16:14
Hey ya all! Take a few beers and put this disc into your player. You canīt do anything but smile when these guys start their power-rock engines. The rating is too high, i know. Some good songs and some shitty ones but we can always push the skip button when a bad one strikes, can we... 7/10.

From: z4roxx Date: August 24, 2007 at 11:46

You know, God loves the bass guitar! :-)

From: Auslander Date: April 17, 2021 at 0:25
Half the album is classic, the other half is meh. But, the classic songs make this worthwhile. Victory Dance is a very early version of rap-metal. Unfortunately they didn't bring in a guest rapper and the vocalist did the rap in a heavy Swedish accent. Still it's pretty good for some reason. Step On It is a classic. Great hard rocking track. Break This Jail and Train are the other great tracks. Be Bop A Lula is a really bad choice of cover and doesn't work. The other tracks are average although all feature the excellent bass guitar work of Ez Gomer. But for the tracks I like, this lifts the grading to a C+.
