Given who he is and what he's done, this should have been a lot better. It certainly shows who wore the pants in Survivor. Without Peterik and Sullivan in tow, Jamison is hopelessly mediocre. Only the title track and 'If You Walk Away' show any real promise... the rest of the CD is burdened by poor writing and unexciting arrangements. Factor in a raw production job, and you've got a CD that is recommended for Survivor completists only.

Yes, I agree with koogles

Some people are dissapoited by this album, Jim i one of those magic persons in Aor world. Maybe this cd is that good like survivors album with Petrick and Sullivan in lineup, but some track on it rock me inside.Especially track # 3, it's wounderfull

From: Gar Date: July 13, 2003 at 20:06
Not as good as the albums he did with Survivor, but this really isn't bad at all. There are a couple of standout tracks and no real mediocre songs.

agree with Gar,just bought this album today, not as good as SURVIVOR but a pretty disent album. not just for SURVIVOR fans..but for all melodic rock lovers. listen to it if you have the chance and deside yourself.

Average album by the Survivor vocalist. Starts off pretty good, but runs out a little near the ends. Mostly just for fans of Survivor. 5/10

SOLD! To the man with snot dripping from his nose and his arm in a cast because he hurt it from masturbating too wildly... Yes, that is how I imagined the person who bought it from me on ebay for a dollar or two. Jokes, I'm sure he or she was just fine... and this CD ain't so bad. Not a huge Survivor fan, but I sort of like them and this guy's got a great voice. The ballads were nice, but nothing too great on this one at all.

From: Wachen Date: April 11, 2005 at 15:00
"If you walk away" is great but this is a huge disappointment comparing to what the man has been involved in and what he would release in 1999's "Empires"! Anyway, purchase it if you find it VERY cheap..ans enjoy a top class vocalist, but this is my least favourite album with this guy involved.. 4,5/10

Jimi has put his name to some great stuff throughout his career but this is another lemon along with the Cobra and the Target albums. Luckily I picked this up very very cheap at a Yanks/Powercuts sale in Manchester. I thought I'd bagged a bargain but boy was I ripped off. Just dull one dimesional rock probably falls between Target and Cobra as far as quality goes, and that isn't saying much. Binned it literally...but kept the jewel case!

pretty good release by JIMI JAMISON and he surely tries to do some rockiest stuff because of those crazy hair metal days.i really liked "taste of love","long walk home","when love comes down" and "if yyou walk away".the production isnt as strong as expected and overall i day that it is a good release with some good moments and some so &so

From: piberock Date: October 31, 2011 at 10:43
buen albun de puro hard rock algo crudo con poca melodia.6/10

From: rick kerch vzla Date: August 16, 2012 at 18:26
Koogles had a point, according to what the singer's background is all about, this should have been a better album IMO...the songs are rather acceptable than good ones..."I Believe In Love" & "Rock Hard" are the ones i liked the most..."Taste Of Love","True Lovers" and the couple of nice tracks "When Love Comes Down" & "If You Walk Away" also can give us some kind of satisfaction i believe but....well a matter of tastes...84/100

From: tomdwa Date: March 31, 2020 at 16:48
A very poor effort indeed, most songs are dull and uninspired, a pity for such a great singer. Only the song Cry alone is worth the purchase here.
