Good album from ex-FIFTH ANGEL guitarist Byrd. In the same mood as his old band, but the singer is terrible, piglike voice. |

Well, I've never heard a pig sing but I can say the instrumental track "Bay Of Rainbows" on this disc totally KILLS! Byrd has phenomenal tone in his soloing here and the emotion he portrays with his axe on this track is absolutely stellar. The CD as a whole is clearly not on par with FIFTH ANGELs debut, but this one is worth picking up for that one track alone IMO. The Byrdman is one fantastic guitarist! |

I had this on tape back in the day (1991), and I just recently decided to pick it up on CD. There are some decent songs, great guitar playing, but the vocals...the vocals are very hard to get past at times. Freddy Krumins can go from showing some potential, to being tolerable, to barely tolerable, to sounding like a really bad Jeff Scott Soto impersonator doing a really bad impression of a whiney, nasally Don Dokken. This album would have been a lot better with a more powerful, dynamic singer. |

Wow!!is the cd in the site since few time?IMO this is a killer release,If you like Fifth Angel or Impellitteri this is a must!My rate here is 10/10 because I love this kind of music and the artist of J.Byrd!Unfortunaly it’s the only great cd he has released…. |

The vocals sound bad? I listened to this album 3 time yesterday and it is an excellent slab of 80's early 90's rock. I found the vocals fairly melodic and the guitar riffs are excellent. Yes the vocals are not stellar but not bad at all. This is a must have album for Fifth Angel fans and guitar freaks. 87/100 |
