From: T-Bone Date: February 26, 2004 at 7:54
They had a tough job to try and out-do The Journey Will Never End and they just may have done it. Very impressive so far, but what else would you expect from these guys?

From: Cruise Date: February 26, 2004 at 23:04
This is one of the best melodic rock albums to come out in the last couple of years. Great singer, great musicians, great songs - top stuff. 10/10

From: fishman Date: February 27, 2004 at 16:32
Awesome disc....now if we can only get them to create a stir here in Canada...the music we're missing out on over here is pathetic. Bormann is at the top of his game.

From: T-Bone Date: March 3, 2004 at 23:14
OK...after a few listens, I don't feel like they topped The Journey Will Never End, but I do think they equaled it. Journey has more punch to the music, but the lyrics on this one are very very well written. Still a solid 10!

From: Rodimus Date: March 6, 2004 at 16:54
I have to dissagree about it being not a good as journey will never end. Jouney was one of their worst albums that lacked the Edge they had in previous albums. THis album is definitely a great album with some rocking songs making it perhaps better than IV. You can tell they really took the time to make a great album and restore themselves as a great band.

From: James Date: March 13, 2004 at 20:53
my favorite cd by these guys has been IV. from the comments this one seems well worth picking up.

From: MJ (Marla) Date: March 13, 2004 at 22:57
All I can say on this is WOW!!!!!! Well worth it JUST for the song 'Anymore'.....LOVE it.. I'm with T-BONE on this one....a solid 10. Outstanding production, vocals, harmonies.....Everything!!

From: Rick G. Date: March 15, 2004 at 0:45
Just got this Cd . Simply AWESOME Production...but then again evrything they do in my book is top notch !!!! 10+

From: zino il tino Date: March 17, 2004 at 7:17
very good. this label in great

From: AOR freaky Date: March 18, 2004 at 4:52
This is not a bad album but far inferior on what is released on Frontiers : Pride Of Lions, Mecca, The V.U., Seventh Key, Khymera (not the best Walsh I have to admit) etc. But of course our friend Zero above finds this very good and the label great (are you really serious, name me all the great releases on this so called great label, think you will only have to have two fingers !, or less !?). Jaded Heart is a good band, but this can't match the real AOR pearls out there !

From: Rockhead Date: March 18, 2004 at 5:36
Have to agree with AOR as to the relevance of the LABEL? A solid release that is becoming a habit of JH.Great solid songs, catchy hooks and great playing combined with MB's superb vocal. I dont think the production is as strong as on previous releases as I prefer the sound of IV(the Journey, IV)but it is still yards ahead of alot of modern product. Shame theres no cover version this time around.

'Anymore','Healer','Masquerade'.....INCREDIBLE songs one and all!I'd be hard pressed to point out a bad song on this disc! This release may be my favorite of 2004 so far, with TNT & PC69 right on its heels. Simply put, this is the definition of superb melodic hard rock/AOR.Highly recommended for.....well, darn near everyone! Buy now!

From: Blaine Date: March 21, 2004 at 3:24
I gotta agree with Fishman. iamCanadian and we are missing out on great rock these days, especially here in Vancouver. The radio sucks and there's nothing worth buying in the local CD stores. I recently ordered this CD and Journey Will Never End on the internet. Til then, I'm buying imported CDs over the internet, getting feedback through HeavyHarmonies and TLRock. ROCK ON, BOYS AND GIRLS!

From: Mike Bruce Date: March 22, 2004 at 14:28
Really good album...no fillers and some really good guitar sounds.. sonically supreme !!!

From: DAVIDE Date: March 30, 2004 at 10:18
ehi jordi, ti sei dimenticato 'trust', una delle piu' belle canzoni di aor che ho sentito!!

From: Blaine Date: March 31, 2004 at 2:01
Just got this CD in the mail today and it totally kicks ass from start to finish!!! One of the best new releases for 2004. Like I said earlier, it's going to be the year of imports.

From: cris johansen Date: April 22, 2004 at 9:36
UN GRAN DISCO DE HARD A.O.R!! REALMENTE ESTA BANDA NO DEJA DE SORPRENDERME,ESTAN CADA VEZ MAS FINOS EN LOS ARREGLOS VOCALES,HACIENDOME ACORDAR MUCHO AL DEF LEPPARD DEL COMIENZO.GRACIAS A DIOS QUE SIGUEN EXISTIENDO ESTAS BANDAS QUE MANTIENEN EL ESPIRITU DEL HARD A.O.R EN LO MAS ALTO.

From: Janxy Date: April 24, 2004 at 14:58
Once I'd made it 6 tracks into this album it had me convinced I was listening to an all time classic! The production is thankfully closer to the majestic sound of the IV album. However the tracks grow a little long and tired towards the end. My tip for the band is to recruit more diverse studio backing vocalists to give the harmonies even more breadth. Some female vocals in the harmonies might even work if that's not an image-breaker.

From: Dave Date: May 5, 2004 at 8:00
This Album is their MASTERPIECE! It will be very hard to top this - but I hope for equally good stuff in the future. I mean this is what the hardrock scene has really been missing. Strong hooks, great guitars, excellent singer and just great vibes throughout the whole album. Good rockers and great ballads. This band would have been HUGE in the 80ies. This Album surpasses all their previous as it steps up th epace and is a bit harder and tougher than the previous ones. Don't get me wrong, their d

Damn, too little space in that box for all my praise :-) Anyhow, you got my points and message - this album is just fantastic. For all who like early Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Winger and Dokken. This is great quality in all departments. Get it - and all their previous albums lime Mystery Eyes and IV etc. This is 1 simple and pure 10!!! Dave

From: Sandra Date: May 13, 2004 at 12:06
Only a 7 out of ten???! Many rave reviews and such low ratings?! What's wrong with people?! This is such a great band and especially this album kicks ass majorly. Anybody who can recognize good playing and compositions must love this. Great vocals, excellent guitars.not anything like lame and overrated Bon Jovi or stuff like Warrant who could not play for shit, more like Whitesnake. This is for people who love catchy and powerful 80ies style hard rock and excellent musicianship. 10/10! S

Me encanta decir esto: EL PRIMERO ES EL MEJOR!!

From: TIM (2) Date: June 1, 2004 at 12:20
Sorry Sandra, but I think 7/10 is about right for this. Is very good, classy stuff, but not a classic. My main comment is about the production, which is very poor. At low volumes it still sounds loud, and at high volumes it sounds distorted, so not sure what's going on there. Bonfire fans can pretend that the 'Free' album never existed and buy this instead...

From: Dave Date: June 14, 2004 at 21:20
I must have heard a different version to what everyone else has because this album does not even come close to 'IV'.It does have some good tracks but like many other new releases people are now accepting that poor releases are average, average releases are good and good releases are excellent.Don't get me wrong, this album is not bad but i think a few reviews are a bit over the top.If you are looking for excellence, Pink Cream 69's Thunderdome is the answer!

From: Paolo Date: July 7, 2004 at 9:17
bring out this record in the 80's and it would sell millions!!!!!!!.....with the help of MTV of course....first video ANYMORE(catchy song with committed lyrics)...second video IF I LOSE(ballad)...third video...TRUST(most articulate sound)....FUCKING HATING YOU would have been the funny video if it isn't enough....turn back the clock for a twenty-year period and just push PLAY!!!

From: BETO Date: July 9, 2004 at 22:37
PREFIERO EL PRIMER DISCO. From: Border Rat Date: July 31, 2004 at 11:43
I think this cd rocks big time!My favourite tracks are Anymore, love is magic, hating you and if I lose.Sweet summertime is the only track that I don't like but the others are all excellent songs. This is one of the best releases of 2004 and it will be in my top 10 at the end of the year.If you are thinking of getting this cd my message is Buy it Now!

From: beto Date: October 5, 2004 at 18:27
Que pena que Michael abandona al grupo.Para mi era uno de los pocos grupos fieles a lo 80s.

From: Janx Date: November 11, 2004 at 7:26
I just have to add, this is one hell of a great driving album. I can't go anywhere unless this cd is in the car.

From: MelodicBoy Date: November 25, 2004 at 15:05
This is quality hard rock, but I still like IV better. That is JH's masterpiece, IMO. It's a shame I buy nothing but imports these days, as American radio has killed melodic rock and shoved grunge and that idiotic rappy metal shit down our throats. One down note-Mr. Bormann and the band have apparently parted ways. What this means for the future of JH is unknown, but it won't be the same without him.

Rhodes island, Greece,August 2004... "Colorado" club... Scandinavian girls all over...A cover rock band is playing. The mood is good, but something's missing. And suddenly... Michael Bormann jumps on the stage! The first legendary notes of "The Final Countdown" fill the smoky air! Panic... And then... "Living On A Prayer", "Highway To Hell"! But Michael sends as to heaven! "Rock'n Roll ladies and gentlemen" he cries as he jumps off, living us dead after only 3 songs! 'Till next summer...

From: Marc Date: December 29, 2004 at 10:40
Michael bormann is out of the band - so you better forget this band and turn your eyes on his solo album, coming out early next year.

From: Jordi Trust Date: January 11, 2005 at 2:37
All guys from Jaded Heart, listen: Will be deep in a hole from now to eternity! Michael was Jaded Heart. Jaded Heart is nothing without him. Time will say. It´s very sad to finish like this. You will finish the band like Helloween without Michael Kiske and Hansen. Never again will be the same. BIG MISTAKE. Enjoy the money that you ear untill now. Now the future is Michael Bormann.

From: Chris Date: January 12, 2005 at 10:06
One man alone is NOT a Band!!!Michael Borman was the main songwriter, that's right. But the other guys are doing this for a long time, too! I just had a look on the credits...and it's surprising how many songs he did with Barish!I'm looking forward for great music from both sides!

From: z4roxx Date: January 22, 2005 at 15:45
Another solid release from M.Bormann & Co.,maybe less brillant as the last 2 but in the same style as well. Now that M.Bormann left the band I don't if their style will be the same in the future,I hope yes!My fave is"slaves and masters".Great band BTW.

From: valleyblue Date: January 28, 2005 at 16:52
first bite at these boys. awesome slice of aor, if anybody posts on kerrazy, any more of these boys would be much appreciated

From: z4roxx Date: January 29, 2005 at 12:24
Where is aor in Jaded Heart???

From: Geoff Date: February 2, 2005 at 0:01
This is possibly my favourite Jaded Heart release, and that is saying a lot! 'Anymore' simply just blew me away, 'Feels like home', 'Healer' are melodic hard rock perfection, 'If I lose' is a great ballad, 'Trust' and 'Jaded' are monster tracks, but 'F*cking hating you' is just stunning. Overall, hard to pick a fave but this is right up there. Another killer album from a brilliant band!

From: Swriter Date: March 4, 2005 at 21:15
the only album I heard of this band, I love 80's-90's hard rock but am a little picky of the newer harder stuff, this one for me is ok, not great, not enough catchyness. Let it Rain is simply one of the best hard rock tracks in a while, the rest of the album does not hold up for me though.

From: z4roxx Date: March 5, 2005 at 12:47
Swriter, this cd for you is ok because it's the worst they made,IMO.Try to get the others,I think you'll change the rate about these guys.BTW this is solid and good,M.Bormann is a king also here, but I repeat, maybe their worst...

From: LUST Date: April 6, 2005 at 17:57
Just picked this CD up today - WOW! Finally, a band that is releasing amazing music in the 2000s. Has the great hooks and lyrics of the music I loved in the 80's and early 90's. Time to buy their other releases!!

From: juan carlos Date: May 21, 2006 at 18:03
Super-recomendado. 9/10

From: jmikep Date: June 30, 2006 at 10:18
Hard to disagree with anything that's already been said. I was a Jaded Heart and Michael Bormann virgin before this album, and I've finally pinned down the JH catalog. Fabulous songs, fabulous musicianship, fabulous vocals.

From: Metalmusicman Date: December 9, 2006 at 22:17
Now that's what I'm talking about!!! If the slight heavier edge of the last disc was a taste of what was to come, then feast on this tasty little morsel!!! This is the evolution of Jaded Heart and what a progression into greatness it is! This thing is a total melodic monster with killer guitar edge. We're talking huge riffs and amazing hooks. Much darker lyricly as well, as "Fu*king Hating You" demonstrates. An instant classic and a clear MUST HAVE!!!

From: the rocker Date: December 13, 2006 at 14:12
great cd.have all the jaded hearts. this and the journey are my favs.

From: onemorecast Date: February 15, 2007 at 18:50
Pretty good cd, though not as great as everyone else is saying. I think I like "Sweet Summertime" the best so far. It is kind of weird hearing German guys playing the blues. I have recently bought this cd along with Wicked Sensation 'Exceptional', and PC 69 'Thunderdome'. All 3 of them aren't living up to my expectations after reading the above comments.

From: Melo Date: April 6, 2007 at 9:45
Wow,what can i say ? You can`t go wrong with Jaded Heart.Fat Sound and quality Songs ! What do you wan`t more ? So get out and get this one ! Anymore kicks totally ass,but not this song alone is Great ! Germany`s finest ??? Yes,i think so ! 9,5 Points

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: April 11, 2007 at 14:26
Very Good Melodic Hard Rock, mas modernos al igual que Frontline cambio de planes pero ellos son otra cosa, tiene su AOR es cierto pero esta banda es de Hard Melodico quiza sus inyecciones de teclado le dan el aire AOR y el primer album se oriento mas en ese camino pero en conjunto Hard Rock Melodico diferencia de Frontline que cruzan de manera espectacular ambos estilos ahora este trabajo muy bueno cortes Anymore, Feels Like Home, Healer ...

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: April 11, 2007 at 14:30
...sobre la produccion y el ruido(en especial ese corte) y lo de mejor despues del Inside Out totalmente de acuerdo con Juan Carlos 8.5/10.

From: Rycheage Date: September 21, 2007 at 22:07
It would have been hard to top "Journey..." but they do come close. "Anymore" is as crunching a song as anything on "Journey..." as is "Healer" and "Masquerade" but the rest fall a little flat. Not bad, in fact very good but not up to previous efforts. Worth owning.

From: cymruaorman Date: September 22, 2007 at 8:39
absolute dynamite,by far their best album to date.an album full of catchy tunes hookladen guitars and powerful harmonies,a must have album for all self respecting melodic rock fans.

From: hernanHRM/AOR Date: November 12, 2007 at 20:04

From: darobinson Date: April 20, 2008 at 12:24
Healer, what an amazing song!! This is a great melodic rock set of tunes. Buy it.....

From: metalmaniac777 Date: January 2, 2011 at 9:14
The previous release, "The Journey Will Never End," remains Jaded Heart's crowning achievement, their magnum opus, but this one nips at its heels like a persistent puppy. Once again, if you love powerful guitars, big hooks, catchy choruses, and thick harmonies, all backed up by stellar production values, then you'll absolutely adore this album like an alcoholic enjoys a shot of whiskey. Too bad Bormann bailed after this and all the trust the band had built with melodic hard rock fans went right out the window.

From: hair metal again Date: March 2, 2011 at 7:28
fantastic release once again by JADED HEART.surely one of the best hard rock european acts, those guys surely know how to hook inside a song.as usual there are 5-6 mega hits like "love is magic","healer","anymore" and "if i lose".great songwriting, amazing vocs, solid guitar work, you cant go wrong with that.for me this is a killer

From: 123charpenay Date: May 23, 2013 at 11:51
an other exeptionnal jaded heart realise.forget the three fillers (track 6.9.10)the ten others songs are a wet dream for all fans of melodic hard rock.mickael bormann is a fantastic singer (one of the best).this record is well produce and the songs hooked you immediatly.jaded heart play a smart and irresistible hard f m.in this time (bormann period) jaded heart was one of the best european hard rock band.
