They had a tough job to try and out-do The Journey Will Never End and they just may have done it. Very impressive so far, but what else would you expect from these guys?

Awesome disc....now if we can only get them to create a stir here in Canada...the music we're missing out on over here is pathetic. Bormann is at the top of his game.

OK...after a few listens, I don't feel like they topped The Journey Will Never End, but I do think they equaled it. Journey has more punch to the music, but the lyrics on this one are very very well written. Still a solid 10!

I have to dissagree about it being not a good as journey will never end. Jouney was one of their worst albums that lacked the Edge they had in previous albums. THis album is definitely a great album with some rocking songs making it perhaps better than IV. You can tell they really took the time to make a great album and restore themselves as a great band.

This is not a bad album but far inferior on what is released on Frontiers : Pride Of Lions, Mecca, The V.U., Seventh Key, Khymera (not the best Walsh I have to admit) etc. But of course our friend Zero above finds this very good and the label great (are you really serious, name me all the great releases on this so called great label, think you will only have to have two fingers !, or less !?). Jaded Heart is a good band, but this can't match the real AOR pearls out there !

Have to agree with AOR as to the relevance of the LABEL? A solid release that is becoming a habit of JH.Great solid songs, catchy hooks and great playing combined with MB's superb vocal. I dont think the production is as strong as on previous releases as I prefer the sound of IV(the Journey, IV)but it is still yards ahead of alot of modern product. Shame theres no cover version this time around.

'Anymore','Healer','Masquerade'.....INCREDIBLE songs one and all!I'd be hard pressed to point out a bad song on this disc! This release may be my favorite of 2004 so far, with TNT & PC69 right on its heels. Simply put, this is the definition of superb melodic hard rock/AOR.Highly recommended for.....well, darn near everyone! Buy now!

I gotta agree with Fishman. iamCanadian and we are missing out on great rock these days, especially here in Vancouver. The radio sucks and there's nothing worth buying in the local CD stores. I recently ordered this CD and Journey Will Never End on the internet. Til then, I'm buying imported CDs over the internet, getting feedback through HeavyHarmonies and TLRock. ROCK ON, BOYS AND GIRLS!

Once I'd made it 6 tracks into this album it had me convinced I was listening to an all time classic! The production is thankfully closer to the majestic sound of the IV album. However the tracks grow a little long and tired towards the end. My tip for the band is to recruit more diverse studio backing vocalists to give the harmonies even more breadth. Some female vocals in the harmonies might even work if that's not an image-breaker.

This Album is their MASTERPIECE! It will be very hard to top this - but I hope for equally good stuff in the future. I mean this is what the hardrock scene has really been missing. Strong hooks, great guitars, excellent singer and just great vibes throughout the whole album. Good rockers and great ballads. This band would have been HUGE in the 80ies. This Album surpasses all their previous as it steps up th epace and is a bit harder and tougher than the previous ones. Don't get me wrong, their d

Damn, too little space in that box for all my praise :-) Anyhow, you got my points and message - this album is just fantastic. For all who like early Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Winger and Dokken. This is great quality in all departments. Get it - and all their previous albums lime Mystery Eyes and IV etc. This is 1 simple and pure 10!!! Dave

Only a 7 out of ten???! Many rave reviews and such low ratings?! What's wrong with people?! This is such a great band and especially this album kicks ass majorly. Anybody who can recognize good playing and compositions must love this. Great vocals, excellent guitars.not anything like lame and overrated Bon Jovi or stuff like Warrant who could not play for shit, more like Whitesnake. This is for people who love catchy and powerful 80ies style hard rock and excellent musicianship. 10/10! S

Sorry Sandra, but I think 7/10 is about right for this. Is very good, classy stuff, but not a classic. My main comment is about the production, which is very poor. At low volumes it still sounds loud, and at high volumes it sounds distorted, so not sure what's going on there. Bonfire fans can pretend that the 'Free' album never existed and buy this instead...

I must have heard a different version to what everyone else has because this album does not even come close to 'IV'.It does have some good tracks but like many other new releases people are now accepting that poor releases are average, average releases are good and good releases are excellent.Don't get me wrong, this album is not bad but i think a few reviews are a bit over the top.If you are looking for excellence, Pink Cream 69's Thunderdome is the answer!

This is quality hard rock, but I still like IV better. That is JH's masterpiece, IMO. It's a shame I buy nothing but imports these days, as American radio has killed melodic rock and shoved grunge and that idiotic rappy metal shit down our throats. One down note-Mr. Bormann and the band have apparently parted ways. What this means for the future of JH is unknown, but it won't be the same without him.

Rhodes island, Greece,August 2004... "Colorado" club... Scandinavian girls all over...A cover rock band is playing. The mood is good, but something's missing. And suddenly... Michael Bormann jumps on the stage! The first legendary notes of "The Final Countdown" fill the smoky air! Panic... And then... "Living On A Prayer", "Highway To Hell"! But Michael sends as to heaven! "Rock'n Roll ladies and gentlemen" he cries as he jumps off, living us dead after only 3 songs! 'Till next summer...

All guys from Jaded Heart, listen: Will be deep in a hole from now to eternity! Michael was Jaded Heart. Jaded Heart is nothing without him. Time will say. It´s very sad to finish like this. You will finish the band like Helloween without Michael Kiske and Hansen. Never again will be the same. BIG MISTAKE. Enjoy the money that you ear untill now. Now the future is Michael Bormann.

This is possibly my favourite Jaded Heart release, and that is saying a lot! 'Anymore' simply just blew me away, 'Feels like home', 'Healer' are melodic hard rock perfection, 'If I lose' is a great ballad, 'Trust' and 'Jaded' are monster tracks, but 'F*cking hating you' is just stunning. Overall, hard to pick a fave but this is right up there. Another killer album from a brilliant band!

the only album I heard of this band, I love 80's-90's hard rock but am a little picky of the newer harder stuff, this one for me is ok, not great, not enough catchyness. Let it Rain is simply one of the best hard rock tracks in a while, the rest of the album does not hold up for me though.

Super-recomendado. 9/10

Now that's what I'm talking about!!! If the slight heavier edge of the last disc was a taste of what was to come, then feast on this tasty little morsel!!! This is the evolution of Jaded Heart and what a progression into greatness it is! This thing is a total melodic monster with killer guitar edge. We're talking huge riffs and amazing hooks. Much darker lyricly as well, as "Fu*king Hating You" demonstrates. An instant classic and a clear MUST HAVE!!!

Pretty good cd, though not as great as everyone else is saying. I think I like "Sweet Summertime" the best so far. It is kind of weird hearing German guys playing the blues. I have recently bought this cd along with Wicked Sensation 'Exceptional', and PC 69 'Thunderdome'. All 3 of them aren't living up to my expectations after reading the above comments.

It would have been hard to top "Journey..." but they do come close. "Anymore" is as crunching a song as anything on "Journey..." as is "Healer" and "Masquerade" but the rest fall a little flat. Not bad, in fact very good but not up to previous efforts. Worth owning.

The previous release, "The Journey Will Never End," remains Jaded Heart's crowning achievement, their magnum opus, but this one nips at its heels like a persistent puppy. Once again, if you love powerful guitars, big hooks, catchy choruses, and thick harmonies, all backed up by stellar production values, then you'll absolutely adore this album like an alcoholic enjoys a shot of whiskey. Too bad Bormann bailed after this and all the trust the band had built with melodic hard rock fans went right out the window.
