| Poniendo énfasis en lo más duro del hard melódico, rozando el heavy metal, JADED HEART lanzan su nuevo álbum, muy prolijo, muy bien producido y con canciones que alcanzan el aprobado. Nada más que eso. 80/100

| Regardless of who's still in the band or not, this is a damn fine peice of melodic hard rock. Reminds me a little of Million's last album, but with better songs. The title track, 'Open your eyes', 'Always on my mind' (with a killer riff/intro) and 'Hellucinate' are all killers, as is the brilliant closer, 'Crush that fear'. There are maybe 3 or 4 weaker tracks, but for the most part this is great hard rock. Recommended for Jaded Heart fans.

| I'm with Remastered Reason....this album is just too metal. I was as suprised as anyone when Jaded Heart still sounded great on Helluva Time after the loss of Bormann, but the loss of Kepic too has just completely dismantled their identity, and this is just a different band masquerading under someone elses legacy now I'm afraid. Two songs which stick in my head are the title track "Sinister Mind" and "Open Your Eyes". Other than that it's pretty forgettable. Go back to the MR sound guys!

| Uuuff NO. Este disco es una total decepción. Todo lo bueno que habían hecho con el esplendido y redondo "Helluva Time" aqui se va al garete: ¿Donde quedaron los teclados?, ¿Y que pasó con la melodía? ¿Que ya se olvidaron de ella?. Aqui el grupo practica un Hard Rock contundente si, pero chato en melodías, carente de ese factor AOR que los hacía distintivos y ni un solo tema que valga la pena o que logre enganchar minimamente. De este disco no destaco ningún tema, No Vale la Pena la verdad...

| This is a great album. The sound is not much different than their previous albums so its not too metallic. It's still very melodic. Personally I don't care who is in the band as long as they don't change the sound. I go by what I hear and not what I see as many people do, that is why the rating is lower I think. I would rate this album 97/100. Give it a listen, you won't be disappointed.

GOOD CD 85/100  When a band is loosing his charismatic singer (the AMAZING Michael BORMANN) and next his GUITAR PLAYER/COMPOSER it seems that the end is near ! But with JADED HEART is a rebirth ! with a more metallic vision but STILL with the big chorus/hooks even if the album if not as strong as IV(their best by far) with the old line up it's still a good CD worth checking for MELODIC EUROPEAN METAL LOVERS

| Saludos al Pheonix y gracias por el material esta CAÑON!, Un buen album Melodic Rock/Metal con toda la potencia, agresivida, y suspensos, un buen trabajo de JH aqui en este año y eh aqui tremendos cortes actuales "Hero", "See The Light", "Open Your Eyes", "Hellucinate" lo mejor de este tremendo album en donde las guitarras y voz encajan y lo hacen POTENTE!!!!!

| this is a little more on the melodic METAL side, rather than melodic rock. but still not bad. i'll give it some more listens.

| Axe-Machine, how was losing Kepic losing their identity? Kepic has only been with the band since IV, so I'd hardly say he was as important to the bands sound as you seem to think he is. This album is brilliant. I dont see what all these talks of it being too "metal" are all about. Do any of you know the difference between hard rock and metal? This is good old fashioned hard rock in the vein of Pink Cream 69 or Yngwie, not metal like Helloween or Maiden!

| More metallic sound than their previews albums but didn't lose the essence of good music!!!.This album simply rocks!!!.The songs have their own private touch & deliver power yet catchy melodies!!!."Hero","Justice is Deserved" & "Hellucinate"(My God the name says it all!!!)are good examples of what i'm saying.Fans of the old stuff won't be dissapointed!!!on the other side,get to know a new direction that suits the band just well.90/100

| THIS ALBUM IS VERY FUKN GOOD BUT NOT AS GOOD AS HELLUVA TIME WHICH IS BRILLIANT. FAHLBERG WAS A WELCOME ADDITION 2 THIS BAND, IT WAS LONG OVERDUE. SINISTER MIND IS ONE OF THE BEST SONGS ON THE ALBUM ALONG WITH THE REST. I HAVE TO SAY...I REALLY LIKE THIS HARDER EDGE THEY HAVE CREATED. 8/10

| This 2nd outing with Fahlberg as frontman finds the band flipping the aggression switch up a couple of notches to steer their sound in a heavier, more metal-edged direction that still retains the core of the band's melodic roots. Not as instantly accessible as earlier efforts, but definitely a solid entry in the ballsy hard rock category. The guitars slam with sinister bite this time around, with red-hot riffs raging left and right. If you can get past the fact that this doesn't really sound like Bormann-era Jaded Heart--and you can tolerate the newfound heaviness--then what you'll find is a solid entry in the "tough guys with attitude" subsection of the melodic hard rock/metal genre.

| Quite a different animal from the Michael Bormann era. I prefer the heavier direction being taken as the hooks remain on the majority of the songs, although one or two don't quite cut it. The main problem is that Johan Fahlberg's vocals aren't up to fronting a band of this quality & while he's not awful some of the melody gets lost. Still, I enjoyed the album & songs like "Justice is deserved", "Sinister mind", "Heavenly devotion" & "Hellucinate" are as good as anything in their back catalogue.

| sinister is the good word.now they plays an average metal(like 1000 bands on this earth)who have absoluty no interest.i think that it is dishonest that they keep the name of jaded heart.hey guys you change your singer,you change your music,so assume change your name!!!!!!!!

| ok release for JADED HEART with a solid commercial heavy sound always with big melodic lines ,big choruses and much energy and electricity ,but unfortunately this time the songs arent too strong and in the end something is missing!"sinister mind" and "going under" are the highlights of their weakest till that time
