Don't forget, Jamie has a new project called AdrianGale. It is a 80's sounding hard rock band. If you like this cd you will love AdrianGale. Buy it at kivelrecords.com, you won't regret it one little bit

This CD is a total let down. Not a good song in the bunch. Not recommended.

From: james Date: October 9, 2001 at 14:22
This was a great cd. I have to disagree with Chris on this one, Jamie on vocals really made Guardian a great band, on the first album they were like a second rate Stryper but with Jamie they really made thier own identity. the song Mr. Do Wrong is maybe their best and hardest rocker. I found love is in a close second for best ballad. #1-never say goodbye. #2 I found Love. #3 see you in heaven. If you like your music with an edge get this cd, I can't say enough great things about it

From: Duardo Date: February 25, 2002 at 3:44
These Guys first 3 albums were great. First Watch is the best, with this one 2nd and their second as the 3rd best. From here, it all goes south. Sorry guys!

I agree with Duardo, he's exactly right. It's a shame how they went downhill like that. As far as Pony66's comments, I'll have to disagree there. Even though the album doesn't have too many good tunes, "You & I" definately is a great standout tune

From: Shoemaker Date: January 2, 2003 at 11:24
I totally agree with Chris. Turn it, turn it off and vomit!!!

From: koogles Date: January 2, 2003 at 18:56
"First Watch" and "Fire and Love" are the only Guardian CDs worth getting.

I love how Palacios Pitched Tuning for the Song "Long Way Home". Miracle Mile is an excellent Song( oh its lovely). Excellent Album. Lots of Different Variety on this Album from " The Captain( Lyrically Excellent)"to the Song "Dr. Do Wrong". This album is Musically thought out from Harmonies, to Song Writing, To Hammer Ons. A Musicians Musician Album. Excellent Job Guys. Their Last Really Good Album. Sorry Guys Yellow and Black Wasnt Your Album but it sounds good.

Spectacular.

From: Scandinavia Date: December 29, 2003 at 9:36
Really good hardrock here...A larger amount of hooks would have served them well though...

From: Stayce Roberts Date: February 6, 2004 at 2:42
This album reminds me of being on the road in 93. Best group of guys ever, and Tony Palacios is still one of the best guitarist I have ever been around. Much love to the Guardian boys, wherever they are.

From: Geoff Date: February 16, 2005 at 4:04
'Do you know what love is' is the only thing I ever got out of this CD. Not really sure what the rest is all about - sub-par hard rock - but that's one hell of a ballad.

God graced Jamie Rowie with a powerful set of pipes and he gives it his all on this release, as clearly evidenced by his opening wail. Admittedly, some of the songs would have been better served by bigger chorus hooks, but this is still some fantastic Christian hard rock, and songs like "Mr. Do Wrong," "Curiosity Killed the Cat," and "You & I" easily rank among the band's best tunes. It would take a miracle to make me ever part with this CD, and I would walk barefoot over miles of broken glass to obtain another copy if necessary.

Have this one and great to get it a spin once in a while. This one is smooth when feeling cool. Great rock music I really like The Captain, the ballads are great, very catchy and harmony here. I even like the spanish version of some of the songs here. 8 outa 10

sensational commercial hard rock release by GUARDIAN and surely one of the best of 93!all the songs are excellent, the musicianship of the highest level and Jamie s vocs powerful and hard rockin all the way!cant really get the negative comments ,imho this one is an exceptional release full of hooks!essential

From: CLOUD FORCE Date: June 6, 2016 at 18:14
Well, this album shifted towards an acoustic driven sound.it was 93 after all. But the songs really rock, and there's a great songwriting, the guitar licks are impressive, and top notch production by The AOR gods the Elefante bros. Of course I prefer them when they sound more electric, like the masterpiece song Sister wisdom. A bit different than the first 2 albums, but don'miss it:kick ass tunes, and overall a really great album.
