This is IMHO the best rock opera/concept album i have ever heard. If you like melodic rock then both parts of this are essential and should be listened to back to back. Brilliantly atmospheric, it really gets you involved with the story. Fantastic musicianship and an amazing aray of vocal talent. Gary Hughes has come up with a masterpiece that will grow on you with every listen. 10/10

Wow! This is the best album I've heard. I'm so hooked on it that I cannot listen any other thing. Arthur really lives and his real name is Gary!!!

When i heard about these albums i was worried that is was just too ambitious and that Gary had gone up his own backside. Could his songs work with lyrics about Horses, swords, spells and pagan rituals. Can you drive to work rocking out to such songs? Answer - YES! Amazing couple of albums. Gary - i take my hat off to you. You will be one of the most talented people never to hit the big time. Shame. Maybe a CD about Gangster rappers from Jamicia will get you noticed?

I bought this album on the strength of the above reviews and I have to admit that you guys weren't wrong!! Quality songs, quality cast and quality delivery. I've often heard it said that Mr Hughes tends to "over-cook it in the mix". But surely a big ledgend like this deserves a big sound!! Musicianship of this calibre should be encouraged at every opportunity and not kicked into the gutter like grunge deservedly was!! All the best.

The Danny Vaughn track is outstanding, but I hated the rest. Just over the top... too much. I can see how some would appreciate it, but it is certainly not my thing. To be honest, a waste of good talent in my eyes.
