| Ten is my favourit band since i heard The Name Of The Rose in 1997, and i think "The Twilight Chronicles" is the best album they have recorded since then. It has everything a ten fan expect from Gary's band. It's epic, heavy and melodic at the same time. It's a mixture of the sound of X, TNOR and Spellbound. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

| Just one more thing. Where i said Spellbound, i wanted to say The Robe. This album has nothing to do with Spellbound.

|Brilliant. Just listen to the incredible melody during "Rome is now.." Can't imagine a Ten fan not liking this. I came on board in 99 so I haven't gotten the first 3 deep rooted in my blood, thus I cant place this album yet in the order. Noticed some new interesting "effects" on the guitars, it works well. It has everything you'd expect including the signature "wow, another amazing ballad! how does he do it". lol. Get's better and better with each spin..."done my time in oblivion, you and I...."

|I quite like this one ! I mean, they haven't invented anything new, but there are some damn fine melodies. I think this is one of their better releases.

|I must be alone with my thoughts on this one. I thought the production was mid-90's indie quality and the songs aren't much better, IMO. The same tired formula seems to have run it's course with me and I couldn't get into any one of these songs. I've been a big fan of Ten for along time, except for 'Spellbound' and these last 2 studio albums. Too samey, nothing new and the quality, to me, appears to be deteriorating. Sad to say, but I would not recommend this one.

Decaen en "The Elysian Fields" paso. Aceptable. 8.6/10

|This album is brilliant. The last album was immense, and this has the same amount of class, but reverts the the more epic mode that Ten made their own on Spellbound, Name of the Rose and The Robe. From the opening strains of "The citadel under siege again", I knew this was gonna be a great album, and was not disappointed. The likes of 'Rome', 'Oblivion', 'Tourniquet' and 'The Chronicles' all hit the spot in a most satisfying way, and this is certainly one of my favourites of 2006. Excellent!

|Listening to this one now for the 3rd time in a row I can´t get into it. But I remembered some good critics here. So I checked them again. But the only post that really points out what I feel when listening to this songs is Geoffs. Too samey, nothing new - exactly what I feel about it. I like the first releases a lot but this one isn´t a must. Disappointing. 70/100.

|More of an epic release rather than labeling it melodic hard rock/AOR...epìc hard rock perhaps? ...anyway for fans of Ten this would be a wet dream in its all, something kinda different from what they've done musically talking in the past, for me it was just a good/interesting album but wouldn't slit my wrists 4 it(a matter of tastes,i guess)...about the songs i'd go for these ones:"Oblivion"(the only AOR track of the album),"The Twilight Masquerade","This Heart Goes On"(nice softy),"The Prologue/Rome"(epic!)& "The Chronicles"(epic!)...80/100
