All-round good cd, great songs -> Splitted hairs and Nearly Orgasmic

From: Bisho Date: July 31, 2001 at 12:17
The album of the year 2000. Melodic Rock at its best!

From: Mark Date: January 14, 2002 at 17:01
I think these guys got a little worse each album. I love the first one, I didn't care for this one much at all. None of the tunes really grabbed me.

From: Kique Date: September 3, 2002 at 11:29
You mark should listen better. This one is fantastic, as is the first one. They're good musicians and fantastic people. Never forget their two shows in Madrid, playing jams after the show...incredible, this is rock'n'roll

House of shakira is a extermely very talented band .The music just keeps growing on you with songs like -in your head-splitted hairs-nearly orgasmic this album is the best to date.If you get a chance go to the bands web site you can check out some of music and videos ,hopefuly a new album will out shortly .

From: Whatthehell? Date: May 14, 2003 at 4:00
This one really does pale in comparison to the first one. No really good songs. I thought they'd be great after hearing "Lint", now I'm not so sure. Sounds like they've lost their edge.

From: Rycheage Date: June 15, 2003 at 2:56
What can I say? This album is brilliant. If all melodic rock releases were as good as this, we would all be broke, but happy as hell. This is an album any major label would be proud to release. The performance by the band is unquestionably good and the production is a sharp and intense as any million dollar album. House Of Shakira have supplied one of the best set of pure melodic rock songs since Steelhouse Lane and Danger Danger.

5.5??????? What the fuck? those people that voted shouldn't be on this site in the first place because clearly they have no idea what classy melodic rock is all about. thgis album is PHENOMENAL. 'Splitted Hairs' and 'Nearly Orgasmic' are two of the best songs ever put to disc.

From: Max Date: May 13, 2004 at 9:10
I actually voted because this album had a 4.something from 4 morons who voted.

From: Max Date: May 13, 2004 at 9:13
Guess what? I voted again. Can't wait for the new one

From: Legend Date: October 14, 2004 at 16:13
Incredible album and brilliant songs. I saw them live in Bilbao and the guys are very good musicians.

From: Geoff Date: February 12, 2005 at 21:55
Again, a big variation in track quality and delivery, but there are some great ones here and I'd be surprised to see someone label 'In your head' as anything other than one of the best melodic hard rock songs in recent history. A stunning track, and 'Nearly orgasmic' is a striking ballad whilst 'Unspoken' is another quality melodic hard rocker. Patchy, but a great band anyway.

From: RockMan10 Date: November 24, 2006 at 3:15
Much better than On The Verge. A very strong return from the fantastic debut.
