I always enjoyed hearing Steve Whiteman with Kix, and he hasn't missed a beat with Funny Money! Good, old-fashioned, dirty hard rock-n-roll! Of course, live discs are very polished these days, so it really only comes across as a live effort when you get the crowd feedback between songs; but hey, I'm not complaining here. "Art of Persuasion", "Sloppy Kisses", and "Horny Little Angel" are my faves. Check these guys out if you haven't already heard 'em! |

These guys have a new CD entitled "Skin to Skin" due out any day now. You'll be able to purchase it through their website at: http://www.funnymoneyband.com I'm looking foward to it! |

The production is solid - basically the band are captured at their raw, live best. But the mix and sound capture is good, so there's no problem like other releases that sometimes sound like a glorified bootleg. |

I'm basing this on the five tracks that made it to the reissued Back Again, as the original Even Better disc is pretty hard to find. The songs all sound pretty much like the studio versions, maybe a little kicked-up. The two that would eventually appear on Skin to Skin are the best, along with "Off My Rocker." |

This CD has a very chopped-up, cobbled-together feel to it, as there's no way you could mistake it for a complete show. I'm guessing they didn't want to risk Donnie Purnell's wrath at the time, since half of teh band's set consisted of Kix songs. and releasing them might have led to trouble. There's no flow between songs whatsoever. Taken individually, though, the tracks are all good, and the stuff from Resurrection sounds a bit harder than on that disc, which is nice. Guess I'd have to name "Horny Little Angel" and "Off My Rocker" as my favorites, although the two songs that later wound up on Skin To Skin are great as well. |

ok live release for FUNNY MONEY performing their songs and we all know what that means when Steve is on stage ,but i d say that there was no particular reason or interest for them to release that one ,as it doesnt add something |
