Another consistently good release. This one paved the way for future releases, in that it is much more in AOR territory than the folky/Zeppelin inspired stuff . As with 'Private Audition', this one seems to get overlooked by most, which is a real shame as there is a lot of quality envolved with this release. 'How Can I Refuse' 'Allies' (written by Journeys Jonathan Cain)& 'Sleep Alone' being album highlights. After this, it all took off big style with the magnificent 'Heart' album of 1987.

Aquí sí me empezaron a enamorar las hermanas wilson. Aún no es aor, ni siquiera sé si es algo más que pop con guitarritas folkies y algo de pegada, pero las canciones son de una factura excelente y ya se ven a las Heart que iban a reventar las listas en los 80.Buen disco. 8/10

Not a very solid album IMHO...opener "How Can I Refuse" is probably the best cut in here...tracks 2,4 & 10 are acceptable too...75/100

Uno de mis favoritos de las Hermanas Wilson y compañía, por supuesto que How Can I Refuse es la joya del disco, y una de las mejores de toda su discografía, Allies es otro gran tema compuesto por Jonathan Cain de Journey, inconfundible ese sonido de batería eléctrica!!, en general el álbum que me hizo conocerlas y por eso de mis favoritas, grandes temas también, Sleep Alone, Love Mistake, Language of Love, Heavy Heart, etc. Un disco muy disfrutable de un grupo a punto de romper las listas de popularidad 2 años más tarde.
