Heart's career is basically divided into two eras: thin Ann and fan Ann. This is from thin Ann. And it's a classic, centered chiefly on the "Barracuda" song that is on every fourth movie soundtrack... |

I love Ann no matter what she weighs! She really has one of the most perfect voices - Britney and her ilk could only wish for just HALF her range. "Barracuda" is obviously a classic, but "Little Queen" and "Love Alive" are my two faves here. |

Just a quick comment.Heart has a ton of great songs but the one I always like thE best was "I CAN I REFUSE". |
From: KNUCKLES | Date: January 8, 2004 at 19:32 |
Type much? The song is called "HOW CAN I REFUSE" |

"How Can I Refuse" is one of my favorites too. I also agree with Christine...Ann is awesome and no matter how big or small she is, she is beautiful and can wail. I just watched Heart's DVD "Alive in Seattle" and that proves it. That is one of the best concert DVD's I have ever seen. I am going to wear out my CD player now, too, because I bought the CD of that concert. They never miss a beat and Ann singing "Black Dog" by Zeppelin puts Robert Plant to shame! |

As a teenager I rode a bus for 6 hrs. to see this tour. Heart w/The Sanford/Townsend Band at Curtis Hixion Hall in Tampa, Fla. It would have been worth it if I would of had to walk! Little Queen is the ultimate Heart release. If you only own one, this is the one to have. It is, without question, a classic.Back in these days Heart were young and hungry and full of life, and their music reflected that.Much better than later semi-efforts with hired songwriters. This was & is the Heart that I love! |

Moody album with only one rocking track that turned out to be not only the best cut of the record but also a classic of the band,i'm talking about "Barracuda"...tracks 6 & 7(nice) are also appealing ones.60/100 |
