Great aor rock. This album contains the hitballad "Alone" Together with "Brigade" from 1990 (with the hit "All I wanna do)" two must-buy albums. Recommended.

The second of three well-polished AOR CDs from Heart in the late 80s. We all know the hits, but there are some standout album tracks as well: "You Ain't So Tough", for example, is simply incredible.

This one is a bit different from the previous one,but yet still an extremely highly recomended effort!I guess this one is a bit more experimental, having sometimes a bit of a bluesy sound to some of the songs but still very aor!Theese songs have some different kind of rithms! The whole record is still very athmospheric and EXTREMELY moody! My favourite one is also dialMTV(87)top 10 is (There`s The Girl)! To this one I give it a 10!Also you never get tired of listening to it!

A real pop-rock classic. Listen this album which includes an overall atmosphere of romance to see how pop-rock is made actually. Ann Wilson is among the best female rock-singers in the world. Her impressive unique voice is much better than most of today's chicks. I wish she would have been on the scene especially in late 90s when ordinary female "so-called" voices rushed into the rock-world. This record, together with their first, is one of the best late 80s' pop-rock albums. I extremely recomme

Call me a jerk but man this is boring! The two first tracks are okay but the rest of the album is a collection of lullabies...

I still remember when the video of ALONE used to be played in the t.v. around 1987. Man, what a video! I mean, Nancy looked sexy. I still call her sexy, if you ask me. Ann is fatter now, but it doesn't matter. She has a great voice!

A lot of bands in the 80's had a lot of energy. This ones no exception with a pumped up, feel-good sound. Their best CD. Never tiring. The last one is good too. "Who Will You Run To" and "What About Love" always remind me of Seattle.

Their best CD? Errrrrrrm, don't think so. Heart went from being a superb, powerful rock band to being a very good AOR band - then they released this set of mostly poor pop rock and I lost interest.

Ah, c'mon!!! It was 1987! It was better than most CDs I listened to in the '90s!!! Songs like RSVP, Wait For An Answer, and Bad Animals didn't have the momentum like the others. I'll say that. I only played those if I'm in the mood for it. I use to play the rest of the songs on guitar and drums.

The 2nd of the 'Big Hit' albums and one that is on par with the S/T release, if not better in places. Ann Wilson is Outstanding as ever (this woman must go down as one of THE best female vocalists ever)and is ably backed up by the rest of the band, and some excellent material, featuring Another Dalbello track (Wait For The Answer)which is probably the Strongest track on offer amongst the 'Hits'. Superb

I don't like this one as much. Some of the songs are as good if not better than the self titled album ("Alone", "There's The Girl", "Who Will You Run To"), but their is more filler on here. 7/10

1st off, I loved Heart, but not this one.Blaine, what r u thinking? Their best!? Have you heard any of the others?I have 2 agree w/illimey,this was a bit of a dud. Trying too hard to make a hit record.Bad Animals was a good song & Want you So Bad is my fav track here, a few other good ones, but way too much throw away top 40 forty junk.Mostly bad '80's music.I saw this tour, like I said, I love Heart, but this was no where close to their best (Little Queen). In their defense, I blame the label.

Fantastic record and far better than all they did in the seventies (yes, Little Queen included). This is after the selftitled masterpiece of the eighties their best. O.K., it's commercial, but what's wrong with that, as long as it is great ? ! It's not because you are in the charts that it is always bad !

There's nothing wrong with being commercial as long as the music is great... which is precisely why this album is so disappointing. The music is, frankly, lame. At least the 'Heart' album still rocked a bit. This one bumped, ground and whined it's way into the charts.

Manolo.

I wanted to like this one beyond hope. Extremely disappointing piece of trash. No intelligent songwriting, whatsoever. A waste of money.

I think this album is a classic. The song "I Want You So Bad" is my favorite. Despite Ann Wilson's battle with weight problems, she still looks good and has a tremendous voice. I rate this album an 8 out of 10.

Clasico de la etapa AOR de HEART, maestria vocal y claro buenas guitarras y teclados que impresionan, si no se le hiciera la tragica comparacion con los tremendos HEART y BRIGADE, para mi no decepciona en lo absoluto, aparte de los temas conocidos: "Who Will You Run to", "Alone", "There's The Girl" hay verdaderos temazos como "Wait For an Answer","You Ain't So Tough" y la oscura "Strangers of the Heart" y no se olvidan de las raíces folky con RSVP con acustica a lo Led Zep. Recomendado 9./10

Probably my favourite Heart album. I especially like Who Will You Run To, Alone (two great melodic tracks with nice keyboards), There's The Girl and You Ain't So Tough. My favourite would have to be Easy Target with great catchy vocals and rhythms.
