Comienzo del declive hacia Rubber.

Quite average to me, too... but, well, "Weight of the world" is here now in march 2002, and that is B I G Harem Scarem.

Very underrated album. Not my favourite but still doing it better than anybody else out there. NUFF SAID!

Como muchas bandas de los 80 se traicionan a si mismos, se cortan el pelo y se les va la olla musicalmente hablando

Quite a good album, and less of a surprise following Voice Of Reason than VoR was following Mood Swings. My only major problem with this album is that *way* too many of the songs (i.e. nearly every track) fade out at the end. Did the guys forget how to end a song properly? As a result the album has a "plodding along" feel which detracts from some of the excellent songwriting. Bottom line: if you liked Voice of Reason, give this one a try too. 7/10

This is the Canadian version of Harem's last studio record and it makes we wonder if the Japanese do actually get it right all the time. To me this album sounds like it is heavier, more melodic and certainly flows better than the Jap release. Change it to open with the two great tracks, "Turn Around" and "Waste Time", add that last track and "What I Do" and this album gets my vote above the other and a few extra points to match. Great.

I just don't hear as many SONGS on this album as the others. Sure, VOR was a bit more modern, but still retained the sense of melody that is HS's trademark. It does rock still, but I can only give it a 6/10.

FUE UNA GRAN DECISION CERRAR ESTE BODRIO CON "IN MY STATE OF MIND", PRECIOSA, FINA Y SUTIL BALADA EJECUTADA EN PIANO Y CON HERMOSOS ARREGLOS( QUE CAPACIDAD LA DE HESS!) LO DEMAS ES POP ROCK TIPICO DE LOS 90 A LO GRUNGE Y ALTERNATIVO, MUY DECEPCIONANTE

From: JF Date: August 17, 2005 at 21:08

I don't know how people can't help but love this one. This one, for some reason, is one of my favorites!!! I'm not sure what it is about this one, but I think it kicks major ass!!! I think the song writing and musical style are similar to that of "Mood Swings" and "Weight Of The World". I found everyone of these songs incredibly catchy the very first listen. Granted there are still a couple of songs that have a hint of that heavier edge, but this is killer AOR!!!
