This is my favorite H.S. album. It's go majestic guitars and choruses that are instantly catchy. If you can find the version with the cover of Cheap Trick's 'Surrender', grab it. |

A fine effort by a solid band. Good songwriting, a lot of variety and last but not least, Lesperance is a SMOKIN' guitarist... |

AQUI MEJORAN CON RELACION AL DESAFORTUNADO Y GRIS "VOICE OF REASON", BUEN DISCO, MAS PESADO, CON ALGUNOS ACERCAMIENTOS AL GRUNGE("HAIL,HAIL") Y TEMAZOS COMO "DIE OFF HARD"( CUYO CORO YA VENIAN MANEJANDO EN LA POSTERIORMENTE EDITADA "WHATEVER I WANT" DEL "EARY YEARS" Y EN EL DEMO "LOST IN YESTERDAY"), "BELIEVE" Y LAS BELLAS "I WON´T BE THERE" Y "RAIN" |

I really like this album, it's nowhere near "Voice of Reason" (luckily IMO) but is like a slightly more modern "Mood Swings". The tunes take a few listens to sink in but is worth the effort. It's also the best I've heard from Lesperance, his unique style is stamped all over this. First-rate songs and performances, and a truly awesome ballad ("Rain") make this essential for your H.S collection. It also sounds like the closest match for the new "Overload" stuff, judging by the soundbytes. 9/10. |

This really sounds like the transition album that it is. Somewhat of a mix of classic Harem Scarem sound and the darker sound of "Voice Of Reason", but just like all Harem Scarem discs those big hooks, giant melodies, and monster choruses just suck you right in every time. Although this one gets overlooked alot for some reason, I think it's one of there better releases. Very good stuff!!! |

I absolutely love this cd, and think it contains the 2 best HS tracks they have done, Staying Away, and Die Off Hard, what solid fucking songs, love it |

excellent release for HAREM SCAREM as usual back in 97 and somehow back then they were a major fresh act for us fans of the hard rock genre!the basics of their sound are offered again in a strong dose and there s a fine darker vibe also in some songs!"die off hard",'hail ,hail","rain" and "i wont be there" are the highlights of Believe!good stuff with great melodic lines |
