Here's my short review and honestly recommendation. Very good, westcoast album, from singer with voice a little bit similar to Michael Bolton. There is many ballads on this album, and it's great to have theme while you're sitting and thinking about your live. My fav. track is #9 ''running man''. I rate it like that: 8.5/10 Peter |

Had this one for a while years ago. Obviously didn't do enough for me to convince me to keep it, but I certainly don't remember disliking it. As the previous reviewer notes, basically one long smooth ballad. Quality production and a fine performance, but ultimately completely devoid of challenge or long-term appeal. Didn't realize he used to be in Bad Company! Better than Michael Bolton, but nowhere near as good as Michael Bolotin! Commercialism for commercialism's sake sucks... |

Hey, 2 negative reviews which is surprising. Yes I suppose that this is quite commercial, but the songs are well arranged and if you like easy going/great vocal/some good guitar (the awesome 'Ridin on the wind') then this is definitely worth checking out! I saw this guy twice at the Marquee and he rocked the place big time. If youre talking about selling out, at least RH didnt record 'Chestnuts roasting on a f*cking open fire' ! Nuff said......... |

Although I prefer what he did on the Distance release his two solo albums are well worth getting. This is the second release and the first 4 tracks are pure excellence with I Don't Wanna be Here being a real tear jerker of a ballad. The next few tracks are a little wishy washy with Boys on the Corner sounding like Rod Stewart!!!!! Running Man picks up the baton again (hohoho! geddit?). Not bad but I feel a few too many fillers! |

Good album of a great voice. In some tracks remember to the style of Michael Bolton. This album is a little better than the previous release. The best tracks here are "Heart and soul", "Angel", "Riddin' on the wind", "Running man" and the highlight "Better than the rest", this song is the AOR that I love, with a shy starting quickly reach one awesome chorus. Also there are fillers songs and then my score is 82/100 |
