October 24, 2020: ONE WEEK REMAINING in the Annual Heavy Harmonies Donation Drive!

Donations stand at covering 63% of the site's annual expenses... so close and yet so far. The annual donation drive is what keeps the site free for everyone so that I'm only pestering you once a year rather than running ads year round.

If you are not in a position to contribute (which I fully understand), please disable your ad-blocker on heavyharmonies.com. When you click through any of the eBay links, if you buy something on eBay, Heavy Harmonies will get a tiny commission.

Donation buttons are shown below. There is a thread on the HH forum that explains the perks for donating at the $20 and $50 levels.

Thank you for supporting the Heavy Harmonies community!

If you notice that a particular Punky Meadows CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Punky Meadows are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Being someone who has a new appreciation for ANGEL, I was very excited to obtain this release which I ordered from Punky Meadows website and received the album signed and a gtr pick as well - which was a nice touch. Anyways, this album is classic Punky Meadows style guitar work and song writing. Not that I got the impression that Punky is reinventing ANGEL here, but is keeping true to his musicianship and elements that are recognizable to ANGEL fanbase. This a nice 70's throwback album with a modern influence to it...which I really enjoyed here. I can only imagine had Frank DiMino been the vocalist on the whole album this would have been the ANGEL reunion that would make fans rejoice! HIGHLIGHT TRACKS: #2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12. MY RATING: 83/100

Punky is a true rocker and of course a fabulous guitar player; here he's delivering classic american solid hard rock, sometimes close to Angel but not afraid to show a certain feeling for melodies that to me are almost 60's sounding, a la Beatles. Great band backing him: 3 of them ended in the reunited Angel a couple of years later. Anyway, my version doesn't have DiMino guesting which is disappointing, apparently there must be different versions around as the two bonus tracks are also different from the ones shown above.
