The excellent debut, first time on cd with a couple of bonus tracks. Loved this when it was originally released, and still love it now. Monty Byrom's vocals are to die for and Danny Chauney ( now .38 Special) chips in with some excellent playing, infact the whole band is as tight as a gnats chuff. Top tunes are' Satisfy Me', 'I wanna Go Back' (later covered by Eddie Money), 'Standin' With The Kings', and 'Last Call'. Fantastic release |

Standard early 80s rock fare. If you think Eddie Money meets 38 Special meets Henry Lee Summer represents the pinnacle of AOR perfection, then you'll wanna get Billy Satellite beamed into your home. |

The first time I heard the song satisfy me, It was on the radio and It had a pretty hard riff to it. I said I 've gotta get this album, and listening to the rest of the album, back then and now, It still is one of my favorite albums of all time really great music. |

This album just "satisfied me". |

One of the greatest melodic rock albums ever. The songs Satisfy Me and Last Call are classic and the rest of the album is great.I wish they would had stayed together and made more albums but it would have been tough to top this. |

I saw them open up for Night Ranger on the Midnight Madness tour. They were very good so I bought this album on cassette and wore it out. I'd say the sound is closest to Sammy Hagar's V.O.A. album and should appeal to fans of edgier Eddie Money, Loverboy, 38 Special, Idle Cure, Streets, John Parr...stuff like that. Worth picking up. |

Good AOR album, mitad del album con buenos temas la otra baja, esos cortes buenos son Standin' With the Kings(la que mas me va), The Lonely One, Do Ya?, I Wanna Go Back, Last Call, Satisfy Me el resto no me convence, de todas maneras buen album alo Eddie Money, Eric Martin o John Parr(pero unos puntos menos que estos). saludos desde Ica-Peru la tierra del Pisco y el Sol eterno. |

I picked up on this CD pretty late having not bothered buying the album back when it was released. Boy am I kicking myself, it's a great little release. The opener Satisfy Me is a fine straight ahead rocker and Last Call has a cool kind of weird guitar riff to the chorus. This release will appeal to anyone who likes their melodic rock with more of an uncomplicated rocky approach. I wish I'd bought it originally....right where's that boot again! |

Heard 'Last Call' on the Friday Rock Show (BBC Radio 1) fakkin years ago, it blew me away at the time to be honest. Decades later somehow i remembered the band name and tracked the CD down... it was great to hear 'Last Call' again..... & again. One of my all time favourite tracks, what a riff! Not sure bout rest of album, 'Satisfy Me' is a brilliant rocker but the rest sounds a bit lightweight to me. Still, worth having the album for 'Last Call' alone... |

Temas a destacar: el 1º ,DO YA,STANDING WITH THE KINGS, y mi Gran Favorito: I WANNA GO BACK!!!!

Saludos!! |

Fantastic Aor music, good tunes and a little taste about southern and classic rock style, "Rockin' Down the Highway" sounds like 70`s Bad Co. and "Turning Point" remind me Foreigner´s Cold as Ice. Brillant. |

Being more especific in the comment(i wrote one in 2005 where probably most of the comments about this release were written)and saying that this album still "satisfies me" in the present is not a lie ..."Satisfy Me" well is a classic track 4 me,"Last Call" pretty good one,"I Wanna Go Back" a brilliant smoothie song that Eddie Money covered and made it popular but to all of you that don't know about it,these guys were the real composers of it,just excellent indeed! ,"Trouble" another highlight,"Rockin' Down The Highway" rocks,"Standing With The Kings" & "The Lonely One" ends the vinyl(the format i own this one )pretty catchy...agree with Carlos A about the southern rock touch to the songs...86/100 |
