| i don't have the whole album.I don't know if the instrumentals are any good.But the vocal tracks with Boals really kick ass!!!If you can find it low price,buy it for that 3 songs and only!

| what is not known to many people is that Gregory had invinted the 7-strings guitar before even Steve vai, he also invinted the 5-strings guitar and the 8-strings guitar, he's crazy, he's a mutha fucka invintor, you should give this record a chance, he's so fast, so maniac, so cacophonic in his playing style, very ORIGINAL, very FAST!!

| Wow, I REALLY don't like this. It's, well, bloody awful, that's what it is. I did not realise (due to the size of the album cover picture here) that he is pissing on Vai's & Malmsteen's supposed graves. I'm thinkin' NOT!!! Horrible tone, anemic vibrato, no rhythm whatsoever. I love this genre, but give me a Moore, Howe, Macalpine, etc. any day of the week. This is just embarrassing, I kinda feel bad for the "Maestro"...it's almost bad enough where I'm wondering if it was put out as a joke.

| Maybe this guy needs to stick to inventing guitars and not playing them- to be honest I thought this was a joke band cd. Hell-even the spirit of Yngwie could outplay this guy.

| La verdad, es que este llamado "maestro" es un completo payaso, cuando vi por priemera vez la carátula de su disco allá por el´95 creí que era un virtuoso, lo compré, pues de pensar que estaba orinando(piss) sobre las tumbas de Malmsteen y Vai hacia suponer que era de verdad un "maestro", pero no fue asi este tipo(alex gregory), ES UN DESASTRE, suena feo, no es rápido, tiene mala técnica, es aburrido y hasta mal copión de los violinistas clásicos(que si verdad son buenos), en resumen es un PAYAS

| Hahahaha.. Yep, i have to agree with some comments above. Pretty awful and boring by moments. All the songs are instrumentals but "Fairytales Won't Die" sung by Mark Boals.. I like "Summer Dreams" and "Variations on the Devil's Tricks". Not recommended at all. 6.5/10

| I own this album and it is my favorite album of ALL time. This album is a work of pure genius! This guy has some serious fast chops. If you are serious about guitar music, you should own this album. This is a "classic" that set new standards for neoclassical metal guitar rock! By the way, if you didn't know, this album chronicles the live of Niccolo Paganini through music, from birth to his deal with the devil, his fame and fortune, to death. It is a true Masterpiece.

| Paganini will not only roll in his grave for influencing this joke, but perhaps he will come back and take this failure of a guitarist with him, MetalFan obviously is Maestro in disguise, or hasn't heard any other albums; no offense intended... But listen to the Geniuses who's graves he's pissing on; the people who paved the road for the musical genera that hes making a mockery of. Hes an ok guitarist over all, but no where near malmsteen and Vai, also, hes not creative enough to write an album of original material so he merely ruins Paganini's masterful creations with horrible tone, bad vibrato and a gay cape, who the fuck wears a cape anyways!?!? seriously.

| I have the whole album and have seen Maestro Gregory play live. The album kicks ass and Maestro Gregory is one hell of a shredder. This album is a neoclassic masterpiece. Blue Charvel needs to get his hearing checked. This is the best album in my entire collection, probably the best ever made. There is a quality of intelligent rebellion that you don't here too often in music (usually either rebellion Or intelligence, rarely together) Listen to the music for yourself. The riffs are imaginative and original while keeping the flavor of Paganini's violin works. The whole album really should be listened to in full, since the album tells a story of a life of a virtuoso.
