Killer new release fom Gotthard. They are back to the early Hard Rock style and Steve Lee's vocals are awesome. With the addition of the killer guitarist Freddy Scherer ex China makes this cd even better. My fave tracks are Lift U Up, Cupids Arrow, Anytime Anywhere, Can't Stop,Stay for The Night. I hope they continue to stay on the Hard side. Rated 9/10.

All right!!!, they went back to there early three albums on this one. Absolutely fabulous album, I love it a lot. There is not a bad song on the whole album. I am so hyped from this album it's hard to put into words. Keep it up Gotthard and you can't go wrong. I hope other bands today get the hint from this and start playing music again. If you find this at any price, grab it and don't let go. I recommend it and give it a 10/10.

What a great 'come back' ! They returned to their old grand rocking form again. And they added Freddy Scherer as a guitarist ( from the former top class act China, also haling from Switzerland) which was a fantastic move as he really spiced things up for Gotthard. A highlight of 2005 for me !! 9,5/10

Solid, hook driven rock. Consistent throughout, whether it be a straight-ahead rocker, or a ballad. Gets better every time I listen to it.

I love Gotthard, but have always been confused why a large portion of their fanbase is so comfortable with average. I love a good hard rock song as much as the next guy, but I thought Gotthard had enough standard/straight ahead hard rockers in their collection (2nd and 3rd albums) be remain content. This is a very solid disc, but I think a step back from 'Homerun' and 'Human Zoo', where they excelled in song-writing and variety in song, whilst remaining melodic. Of the first 8 songs you have 4 a

4 average hard rockers, all skippable if done by any other band, but Gotthard exude class, 1 great one ('I'm alive'), 2 nice enough ballads and a killer track in 'I wonder'. Tracks 9-12 are all killer hard rockers and what I like about recent Gotthard. The two ending ballads are pretty lame and 'Can't stop' is a good hard rocking end. I like this album a lot, but don't think Gotthard need to prove themselves to their fans with run-of-the-mill hard rock tracks like the first 3 songs on this CD. W

This is more like it. Quality all the way. Can't say I dislike any track on this as they are all consistently good, but faves are definately 'All We Are' 'Dream On, 'Lift U Up'. The ballads are great aswell. This is just excellent Melodic Hard Rock all the way. I still prefer their last 'Human Zoo' album, but maybe time will tell. Highly Recommended

Seriously......this album is SO AWESOME!!! I've had this for about 3 weeks now, and it's been played AT LEAST once every day. "Can't Stop" just blew me away. "Lift U Up".......does just that!!! GREAT song!!! "I've Seen An Angel Cry"....well, break out the tissues time for me...lol. "The Other Side Of Me"...another great tune!!! This is just the BEST album (IMO) to come along in a lonnnnnnng time. 10/10 for me...

This is my first taste of the band & is a very impressive intro. I'm not fussed about the earlier songs on this but by mid-way it really gets into gear. A great vocal performance & some catchy choruses make this a real 2005 highlight. My favourite track by about a million miles is "I Wonder" with a simply magnificent chorus. Elsewhere "Stay for the Night" sounds incredibly like The Storm with Chalfant on vocals, and "...Angel Cry" is the best ballad. Too many songs, but still excellent. 8.5/10.

This is on my best of 2005 list already! I can't believe how great this band is and how they never get a notice in North America. Poison & Motley drop albums of lesser quality all through their careers and become massive this band releases what is just another stellar album in their catalogue and nothing. I don't understand but whatever you do buy this album. This is one of the best albums of the genre from any decade. Not many albums can compete! WOW

I have to amend this as I am currently on record as saying that I think 'I'm alive' is a great song. I actually mixed it up, and 'Cupid's arrow' is the one I like. The first 3, 'I'm alive' and 13 and 14 are the only ones I don't like, especially 'I'm alive', which I really dislike. The rest are awesome tracks. Sorry, just wanted to clear that up

Get this Gotthard if you ain't got it. After some so-so albums that strayed from the harder sound of their early work, this latest CD returns to their hard-edged, guitar-driven roots. And if you were one of those people who flapped your lips about about how the last few releases weren't catchy enough, the band has remedied your complaints by writing some very tasy hooks and sing-along choruses. Gotthard has done melodic hard rock fans a great service and delivered one of the best albums of 2005.

Great straight ahead melodic hard rock. This really is a fab bunch of songs. Killer tracks are 'Cupid's Arrow', 'Said & Done', 'I Wonder' and 'Cant Stop' - all are easily as good as anything on BJ's lastest effort. 'Seen an Angel cry' is a good ballad but slightly annoying - it's just all chorus?? Also, throughout most of the album the solos are just a tad restrained - I would have liked to them fly a bit more. Overall highly recommended 8.5/10

Awesome!!! Great traditional, commercial hard rock. One of the absolute best albums this side of 2000 and along with Allen/Lande and Masterplan the standouts of the year 2005. The bonus track "Can't Stop" is one of the albums highlights. Other favourite tracks: Cupid Arrow, I Wonder, Said & Done and Lift U Up.

What a breath of fresh air this band is!! Forget comparing Gotthard to Bon Jovi and the like. Bon Jovi, sadly, are not a band any more... they are a business and their best days are long gone. It is now time for bands like Gotthard to pick up the mantle and take melodic rock forward. This album is a collossal step in the right direction. Yes, it's "feel good factor" stuff, but is this so bad?? "Anytime Anywhere" is rock in a bottle!!!!! Later folks.

If you liked "Homerun" and "Human Zoo" then you will like this one too, as it is the natural evolution in the process. In terms of sound and song style it picks up where the other two left off, but with standout tracks like "Anytime Anywhere" and "I Wonder", I just think the songwriting is a little better this time around. I still long for the style of "G" or "Dial Hard". Recomended for fans of the band.

At this moment this is one of their most acclaimed albums by the media...plenty of good songs with that particular sound that the band provided...now that the band is gone after the sadly dead of Steve Lee,all their albums are a must, not because Steve's dead but because basically every single album of the band has amazing tracks and brilliant(or close to it)crystal clear production...hope the record company who owns the right of the band re-edits them with extra goodies ...songs?..."All We Are","Everything I Want"(nice ballad),"Cupid's Arrow"(rocky and catchy),"I Wonder"(catchy too),"I've Seem An Angel Cry"(beautiful and solid ballad),"Anytime Anywhere"(excellent)& "Said & Done"(another catchy one)...recommended album by all means...93/100
