A party version of Queensryche. Great vocals and 2 very talented Guitarists. I guess I'm biased because I'm a friend of Rob Kruger. I've been going to thier shows for 12 years and through many line-up changes, but they still rock.

From: Rockhead Date: October 11, 2001 at 22:42
Got this cd on eBay after hearing Lance King's new Band Balance Of Power. This cd really Rocks!!!! It's like Queensryche with Satriani On Guitar. The 2 instrumentals are great. TKO and Captivated have very catchy guitar riffs. Coming Home is an awesome Ballad. On The Edge and Nightmare have the serious Queensryche vibe goin' on. Lonely and Desolation Angel really show off Lance's vocals. All around great cd!!

www.geminirocks.com if anyone out there wants info on Gemini

From: Friday 13th Date: May 23, 2002 at 5:13
Great debut album which is much stronger than the 2nd release, and it reminds me of Queensryche and Leatherwolf. Shame there not around no more.

From: Reno Date: July 23, 2002 at 21:03
Yes, Friday 13th, They are still around and they play around the Twin Cities area. There's only Rob left in the band, but the new version is musically much stronger than the old. Lance went on to join Balance Of Power, but still plays around the area with members of Conditioned Response in a band called Decibel. They play at Dibbo's in Hudson Wisconsin alot. Go to www.geminirocks.com if you'd like more info on them. jason, you might like them also. Playing at Bogarts in Burnsville Fri July 26th

From: Reno Date: July 23, 2002 at 21:09
...Continued. Correction, Bogarts is in Apple Valley off County Rd 42 across from Target. Sorry about that. Gemini's sound has gotten a little heavier than the 80's stuff. They still play some Wasp, Dio, Sabbath, Motley Crue, and Heart, but also play Limp Bizkit, POD, Disturbed, White Zombie, and Godsmack. For more info on Balance Of Power, the website is www.balance-of-power.com. They would definately give Queensryche and Dream Theater a run for their money. Great melodic progressive rock.

From: jason (FA - Q) Date: July 23, 2002 at 23:55
Hey Reno! I have seen Conditioned Response and I think that they are a local version of Queensryche. I think that seeing them once was more than enough! They don't hold a candle to Dream Theater! AND, I don't care for Queensryche. Sorry, but thats how I feel.

From: Reno Date: July 24, 2002 at 2:37
I never said anything about Conditioned Response comparing to Queensryche or Dream Theater. I said Balance Of power was a close resemblance. I just said that Lance has played with Members of that band.

From: jason (FA - Q) Date: July 24, 2002 at 17:30
Sorry I blew up! You were rambling on and on, I couldn't keep eveything strait! You were jackin' your jaw and you named about 15 bands in one sentence, so how in the hell would I know what your talking about!? Any band that gets compared to Queensryche can't be to good! Thats what I think!

From: raven Date: November 16, 2002 at 0:08
Instrumentals Strait Up and The Harem alone are worth getting this one! Relive a time when music was emotional and fun! Light a spliff and go back in time.

Never knew that James Bond 007 played in a hard rock band before. He really showed some amazing chops on "Strait Up".

From: Metalhead Date: January 4, 2005 at 12:56
James Bond aside, I'm very, VERY impressed by the guitar playing on this album. It just SHREDS!!! Guitar affisionados should discover this one. The Satch comparison by Rockhead is probably because of The Harem track. I just think the drummer messed up the Strangers Are Dangerous intro.

* First, I must admit, I do judge music alot tougher than may on this site. This Gemini CD is not bad.. it's just missing something (not sure what)... oh yeah... BALLS. There are some good musicians on this cd, just seems as the parts don't come together that well. Again.. I do have a CDR available if anyone is interested... leave email adress here.. Dave

From: Geoff Date: February 14, 2005 at 19:58
I agree with the above statement. These guys were good enough, but unfortunately didn't have the budget they wanted. Although they tried to make a heavy melodic hard rock disc, because of restrictions in sound it just doesn't sound that great. It's a good enough disc, though there are fillers, but also a bunch of good solid hard rock songs. I recommend a CDR if you can find one, but not much else. Don't get me wrong, I don't dismiss this purely on sound, but generally the songs aren't that great

Good Hard Rock. Lance King is an excellent vocalist with very good twin guitars. The production lacks substance. Still worth checking out or picking up for your collection. Rated 7/10.

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: April 2, 2007 at 23:47
Good Melodic Hard Rock, esta en algodon pero para alguien que busca A1 le falta bastante mayormente temas Hard Melodicos y algun que otro Hard Rock y Melodic Metal 7/10.
