'Come rain or shine' is deffietely one of melodic rock's best songs ever. A classic featuring a host of talents.

From: Javier Date: June 30, 2002 at 5:14

From: Andre Tekken Date: August 2, 2002 at 9:57
Perfecy example of early 80's radio friendly rock!Franke's voice reminds me a lot of Mickey from Jefferson Starship! Also the tunes are melodic emotional stuff!I would risk to say that this band is somewhere between Toto and Starship. One of the best AOR outfits I've ever heard! Also great production and musicianship make this effort a must have to any AOR entusiast!98 out of 10!

From: Andre Tekken Date: August 2, 2002 at 10:05
Also this record features the original version of 'Dirty Dancing movie'Hungry Eyes!Which I personally preffer! With this song Franke won the Academy Award for best song!Does that shows you his writting(songs and lyrics)skills! Also this album have Tico Torres(Bon Jovi)playing drumms!Again a must have!!

Very underated group of musicians. Franke Previte could have set the standard for male vocals had they had better label support. He ranks with Bobby Kimball/Toto & Mickey Thomas/Starship in my opinion and there are no bad songs on any of their CD's. If you like these guys? Check out the female version . Also a band that had no label support. Saraya has two CD's that were released, And again! No bad tracks...

QUE MARAVILLA!! q grupazo, q bien suena, q grandiosos temas, calidad y buen gusto a partes iguales!! d lo mejorcito d la primera mitad d los 80'. muy recomendado!

From: freddy de keyze Date: June 8, 2003 at 16:02
Great CD indeed. It's heavi'r than 'Below the belt', but still very melodic and full of great songs. The second best from Franke because I like 'Below the belt' still a bit more. Their first you may forget, crap ! But this one you must have !

i love you franke!

Freddy Keyze, The first one has 'running into the night', though, which is a classic! Think I will get the hits collection and judge from there

From: Previte Date: May 7, 2004 at 8:08
This is pure AOR. The touch of westcoast is gone. Maybe because Bobby Messanos membership in the band. He have a strange kind of style that man. Quite tasteless guitarwork. Anyway, good album but the two first are better.

From: AOR freaky Date: May 7, 2004 at 8:34
Right, pure straight ahead hard AOR ! Good stuff indeed !!!

From: Rycheage Date: May 14, 2004 at 0:07
There's something a bit special about these New Jersey legends, and it goes deeper than Franke Previte's golden voice. They show a genuine grasp of melodic hooks and quality AOR songs, regardless of tempo. Overall, a very pleasing AOR album which is unlikely to disappoint even the most exacting AOR purist. Sadly, it was also the band's swan song.

Another slice of 80s class, containing the mighty Carrie Why....

I now have this on cd instead of well-used cassette,as well as the other two.And it just highlights the quality of a very underrated band.If lite a.o.r.is your thing, you can't go wrong here. All three albums are classy, but this stands out for me,still !!!!!

From: AOR_Crazy Date: October 17, 2005 at 14:00
REALLY ONE OF THE BEST RECORDS I'VE EVER HEARD! This is what's rock'n'roll all about people - 1.melody 2.energy 3.skills 4.dynamics, alongside with i-TEN, Orion The Hunter, Bystander this record keeps a child in my soul and blood burn!!!

From: z4roxx Date: June 9, 2007 at 12:13
Pretty agree to all here, very very good aor of high quality in a classic 80's vein....High rate here would be right!!!

From: rbrigade Date: December 3, 2008 at 19:30
Some ratings have to be deleted...This is a very good album, why should anyone rate it 25/100????? Their best album, I like almost all tracks. Franke is one of the best singes in AOR. Such a shame he didn't release more music with his band...

From: darobinson Date: December 23, 2009 at 2:53
I must say that this is one of my all time favorite AOR albums. The only problem I have with the CD release is that some of the tunes have been remixed. The cassette copy of this release is even better than the cd release. It has all of the original members playing and it has a more rockin' and crunchy guitar sound to it. If you have the cassette give it a listen. You will hear what I mean.

From: Harald Date: December 23, 2009 at 15:51
This is a great AOR album, there is no better voice than Franke´s, Why this LP wasn´t huge at the time of realease is a real mystery to me. Found the cut out vinyl album last month in a bargain bin and love to play it from start to finish, every song is great and some are even better!!! If you like Foreigner or Journey you will love this too!!!

From: rick kerch vzla Date: April 8, 2010 at 20:41
Classic stuff by Frankie and The Knockouts..it includes the song "Hungry Eyes" covered by Eric Carmen in the soundtrack of the movie Dirty Dancing...apart from Hungry Eyes in its original version another highlights are "You Don't Want Me (Like I Want You)" an AOR killer track &"Carrie Why?"..."You're All That Really Matters" is a very nice ballad and "Outrageous" along with "Blame It On My Heart" are very good songs too!...if you want to listen to AOR music in its real senses then try this album.86/100

From: gtj Date: November 30, 2011 at 20:53
Fantastic musicianship, top class songwrting, polished production and Franke's voice lying somewhere between the greatest moments of Bobby Kimball & those of Mark Free.Want anything more? One of the finest records of the genre! A must have for everyone considered a dedicated fan of AOR music.
