A classic 80's light rock CD. Sweetheart and She's a Runner are awesome songs that make you remember the poppy early 80's and feathered hair haha.

Of it's time and very good album. You're My Girl should have been a smash hit single.

From: Metal Pete Date: February 6, 2004 at 13:51
All I ever heard of these guys is 'running into the night', but it's very good!

From: Previte Date: May 7, 2004 at 7:56
A fantastic album. Early AOR with a westcoast touch. I love the dry production, typical for this time. If you like Alliance (Handshake label), you would love this one.

Another legendary band from New Jersey. Perhaps playing a style which best represents the entire musical genre known as AOR. So, if you want to find out all about AOR, then these guys are your first reference point.

I don't agree with you on this one and this band, Rycheage. This CD is crap, but their follow ups are great stuff ! But this band representing what's AOR is all about : don't think so ! They have a special style. There are far better acts out, although I like their second and third CD very, very much !!!

La mejor cancion romantica que existio en los 80s seguramente. Excelente disco.

From: richb Date: April 25, 2005 at 13:47
Sorry AOR freaky I'm with Rycheage on this one. O.K. it's not as hard hitting as the albums that were to follow, but the likes of "Come back" and "Tonight" are still sterling stuff. A staple in any serious AOR fans collection.

This is very lite, but does contain the excellent 'Sweetheart' 'Comeback' & 'Running In The Night'. Not as good as the next 2 releases, but don't dismiss this if you are a fan of Lite/ Westcoast stuff, as their is plenty of good material on show.

Like the other albums Franke did release this is excellent AOR and it contains one of my favorite songs of the band. "Annie Goes To Hollywood". Great album!!!

Pleasant early 80's old school AOR...best tracks for me are "Tonight","Tell Me Why" & "Don't Stop"...there are some other goodies such as the nice song "One For All"...Charlie Dominici(first vocalist of Dream Theater sang backing vocals on the tracks)...i own this on vinyl so i don't how does the CD bonus track sounds like...a nice album to have...85/100
