A real classic indeed, you can't miss this litlle gem. Pure, classic AOR, not many bands are capable of making, certainly these days. Another real MUST !

From: freddy de keyze Date: September 12, 2002 at 7:12
Indeed, a real CLASSIC and one not to miss !!! Every song is a winner. AOR at i'ts very best !

From: Xabofar Date: May 4, 2003 at 15:40
Another classic from this fantastic band. Don´t search no more, this is pure aor with the incredible vocals of Franke Previte (one of the best I think). I like a lot his strong voice in Just what I want

From: Chris Date: June 26, 2003 at 14:17
Indeed this is a classic release. Songs such as 'Keep on fighting' 'Just what i want' and 'Never had it better, are instant classics. This was probably the strongest album that the band did. However, many people prefer the follow up. Almost a perfect 10.

I find this their best record. Great AOR and not to miss. Other people think that 'Makin The Point' is their classic ! Decide for yourself !

From: Previte Date: May 7, 2004 at 8:01
Yes. People claim that Making The Point is their best but i think they haven't heard this one. This is their best record. Even the first is better then Making... Great AOR with 100% focus on melodies, performance and arrangements. A true classic, at least in my home :-)

Pure 80s AOR nostalgia. The debut was poor but this was the real deal.

All of the Franke & The KO's albums come highly recommended, as all were pretty consistent throughout. The highlights of these being 'Sweetheart','Comeback' & 'Running In The Night' from the softer debut, 'Outrageous' & the magnificent 'Carrie Why?' from 'Makin' The Point' and this has 'Keep On Fighting', 'Never Had It Better', 'Just What I Want' & 'Anyway You Want Me'. Pretty much a perfect band for the AOR genre of the time and it all still holds up pretty well to this day.

I owned this on LP and wore the grooves down. I haven't been able to find a real CD, but if you can wear the grooves out on a CD-R, I'm probably doing that whlie waiting to find a copy. Is it obvious I love this album and have since the day it came out?

ESTE DISCO ES UNA JOYA,AOR MELODICO Y CON FUERZA DE PRINCIPIOS DE LOS 80´S,TEMAS COMO "Never Had It Better","Just What I Want" O "Morning Sun" SON UNA MUESTRA DEL TALENTO DE FRANKE PREVITE & CIA.TENGO EL DISCO DE ACETATO DE 1982(LP) EDITADO EN UN SELLO DE MI PAIS...QUE TAL!!!!. 9/10 SALUDOS DESDE TRUJILLO-PERU

From: Carlos A. Date: November 11, 2006 at 21:16
"Just What I Want... babe!" ahhh mi dios que cancion!! aunque lo oiga con harto scratch nostalgia pura.

From: lalorock Date: December 3, 2006 at 21:23
Without you,Just what i want,Anyway that you want me..., si buscas cantidad de melodía? este es para ti.

GRAN DISCO!!

Never had it better is my favorite Franke & KO track. Just what I want another favorite. but tere are some weak tracks here too. I think their last album is their best

Another classic album from Franke and the Knockouts, this was part of a bargain bin purchase last month. I have to say that it sounds fantastic, track 1,2,3,4 are faultless and you don´t hear that this album is almost 30 years old. "Never Had It better" and one of the best AOR ballads ever "Without You (not another lonely night" are worth the price alone. IMO this is better than anything the mighty Toto did in the early 80´s. Great timeless album!!!

Very pleasant release by Franke Previte & C.o. ...i've just decided to undust my vinyl and have a listen to it...it put a smile in my face ..."Never Had It Better" is perfect, excellent by all means,"Without You" total smoothness,"Just What I Want" solid sound, liked it a lot,"Shakedown" & "Keep On Fighting" are probably IMHO the best shots of the album...worth having this...the cd brings a bonus track..how does it sound???..is it any good???...88/100 AOR RULES!!!!
