If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Hardline CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Hardline are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Well...as MUCH as I LOVE Hardline......the production on this one sucks. The sound was apparently malfunctioning throughout the show.... The background singers sound like a church choir....or rather anything BUT a choir of angels.... That being said, it's STILL the Hardline I love....it's still that magical "Johnny" voice...and the bonus songs are wonderful.

recorded with a sony walkman in the cellar of frontiers record. i can't understand how a grat band can allow this label to destroy their image.

More proof that Neal Schon is primarily what kept Hardline from sounding like Bon Jovi or Autograph.

This is an above average live album, don't listen to anyone who says it sounds terrible. The quality is a little rough, one could argue that it should sound cleaner for a band who in the studio are so deliberately slick... but hell it's pure live, not an overdubbed work of fiction. YES the backup singing is a little crap at time (although a MILLION times better than that on Tuff Live in the UK)... but the guitars are crisp and upfront and the vocals are clear and well-delivered... (see below)

Basically it's a decent *genuine* live album. To put it into perspective, in terms of sound, energy, production and performance, this is along the lines of Cinderella Live at the Key Club, Britny Fox Longway to Live or Lita Ford Live Greatest Hits; that nice loud identifiable sound that sure, is a little rough, but still a great energetic listen! If it were a bootleg it'd be an A-grade, as a label-release its a B+. Use your own tastes & experience to determine how slick you demand a live album!

@Marla ( MJ ), yes the Background Singers sound like they are on Dope, and yes Johnny Gioeli isnt happy with this release as he told me some days ago, he just heard this CD after it was released, he is very pissed about it !!!

Shame on you, Frontiers Records! I have bootleg copies of old KISS shows from 1976 that destroy this release in terms of sound quality. You're way better than this; why would you ruin your and the band's reputation with this piece of garbage. Too bad, becuase Harline is a great live band!

i love hardline, but this live is very very bad, expecially johnny voice is very bad, what happened?

From: Chad Date: October 1, 2004 at 22:32
I have the DVD and did not think that it was too bad in terms of sound quality. I know Johnny was complaining that the monitors were not working and that he could not hear shit on stage. Maybe that explains some of the sound problems. He is no Jeff Scott Soto but he can hold his own on stage. He has a very strong voice. He has the attitude to go along with it too....

Why ?? This should have remained a coaster on the bands coffee table. They have destroyed a legacy of good productions with this. I wish I could say differently but this in one of the worst live albums I have heard and I am not fond of live albums to begin with. I am in no way bashing the musicians as I know they are better than this but I can't recommend this album to anyone. 55/100

Lo escuché en lo de un amigo. Por momentos me pareció que las coristas desafinaban . Descepcionante. I agree with MJ.

How the hell a band like Hardline released this horrible "in boxed sound" live album!!!!... ...even Johnny Gioeli recognized the bad sound on stage!!!...and unbelievably is an official live release....even more ....anyway even that some of the songs played here are Hardline's classics, they were played feelingless(IMHO)due probably because of the bad sound...tracks such as "Hot Cherie","Life's A Bitch,"Everything"(my all time fave),"Takin' Me Down","Only A Night"& "Dr Love" deserved something better...not "everything " is lost...the song "Only A Night" in its acoustic version is a beautiful(studio recorded)...Neal Schon...where were you...with you on board this wouldn't have happened...70/100
