This is Accept's 17th album. Looking back I remember when I was in my late teens and went to a video dance nightclub, circa 1985-86'(alcohol 18+ grandfather's clause state). I got the VJ to play "Midnight Mover" video to clear the dance floor (except me) and a few rock soldiers. I was a fan of some of the 80's UDO releases and liked the MHR David Reece experiment 'Eat the Heat (1989)'. Wolf Hoffmann (Guitar) is the sole original member left. I haven't really been a big fan of the Mark Tornillo (T.T. Quick) 14+ years going back to 'Blood of the Nations (2010)'. Mark is going on 70 in a couple months, so I tip my hat for his longevity. With 'Humanoid' Accept steers towards more AC/DC territory, wavering from their harder 2010 metal roots. Mid tempo tracks like 'Man Up' I could definitely imagine Brian Johnson singing. The last ballad I remember on a Accept album was 'Mistreated' with David Reece so ‘Ravages of Time’ might be the second ballad unless UDO had a acoustic ballads album. |

This is a solid album, check it out! The only song I did not like, it's ok, is "Ravages Of Time." |
