A pretty underrated album. for me is very close to be a classic Accept album. Very solid album and very influenced by AC/DC(Masters!!!). ROCK ON!! 8.8/10

Who in the h*ll has done more for real heavy metal than Udo Dirkshneider? Theres a short list and this cat is on it and d*mn near the top.The debut and 'Im A Rebel' were solid, but this one was the beginning of the beast-the precursor to 'Restless & Wild'.'Starlight','Burning','Son Of A Bitch' and the title track all rip tail! You'll find heavier bands out there but these guys had the brains and the balls...

If you like metallic side of Accept, grab 'Restless & Wild'.If you stick to older German Hard Rock like Scorpions, you should grab this 'Breaker' instead. Both are 2 of Sccept's bests by the way.

Great album, remember having this when it first came out, Starlight was an excellent opener. Some great songs with Feelings, Down And Out, Can`t Stand The Night and Breaking Up Again being my personal faves.

Some idiot named nookiexx has rated every Accept album 1/100. I was wondering why they rated so low. This is a killer album with Breaker, Burning and Feelings being my favourites.

Surely this album and basically none Accept album could be rated with this number ...agree with ya edwithmj...cheers mate!!!

Breaker is the first Accept record I've heard and it's one of those seminal European metal records. Restless and Wild has remained in history - rightly so - for tracks like Fast as a Shark and Princess of the Dawn (the former inventor of speed metal, the latter of melodic, neoclassical power metal). But in Breaker there is much more, Starlight offers splashes of soloism at the top level, the ballads are of a miraculous intensity and the funny moments (Son of a Bi**c and Midnight Highway) make you want to turn up the volume to...11

very good album for ACCEPT bringing their heavy rock/metal sound with solid riffs and those unique Udo s vocs !great guitars ,strong anthemic songs and 2 ballads like SCORPIONS are offered with the band finding its trademarks!"starlight","breaker","son of a bitch","burning" and "midnight highway" are fine songs indeed!classic of the 80 s scene for sure
