Almost imposible to beat this one!

From: freddy de keyze Date: September 23, 2002 at 7:41
Indeed, practically not to beat. Their debut and their finest record ever, even better than 4 !! The sound is unique, the songs are real pearls, every song is a clear winner, the voice of Lou is stunning etc. A MASTERPIECE and one of the BEST CD'S EVER !!!!!! Now out on CD, digitally remastered, with a great sound and all the new bands know how AOR should sound. A MUST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From: Xabofar Date: October 4, 2003 at 6:11
Yes, their first album was/is a real classic. Very good songs with a fantastic pomp sound. Listen to the marvelous keys on Feels Like the First Time (from the Spys/ JLT man Al Greenwood). Woman oh Woman, Cold as Ice, Starrider...A MUST!!!

From: keebler Date: October 8, 2003 at 2:29

From: AOR freaky Date: November 24, 2003 at 5:28
This is indeed an ALL TIME CLASSIC ! A lesson of how original AOR should be done ! BRILLIANT !!! The voice, the music, the songs , the originality . . . it's all here ! NOT TO MISS !!!!!

From: robert Date: November 29, 2003 at 13:24
OTROS Genios q comienzan su carrera. me suena un pelin añejo!! pero hay muy buenos temas, sin duda.

From: perry.k Date: January 26, 2005 at 13:50
The trax 'cold as ice','starrider' and 'long way from home' are TRUE PEARLS.Oh what am i saying? The whole album is an IMMORTAL CLASSIC! Every music lover should own a copy of this musical treasure.Period.

From: AORmaniac Date: January 26, 2005 at 22:12
A super classic album!!!! Awesome debut and one of all time best rock albums ever!!! I would not call this one AOR but classic rock with some art/prog elements... but the good thing here is that we all agree that this album is an eternal DIAMOND!!!! This is a MUST for all true rockers out there!!!

From: AOR freaky Date: January 27, 2005 at 12:55
Glad we agree on this one, AORmaniac. As perry.k. writes : IMMORTAL CLASSIC, their best IMO ! Every song is a winner !

From: gener8tr Date: April 28, 2005 at 18:59
Perhaps the finest and most important AOR / Melodic Rock debut in the history of music. This baby set the bar for which few other have came close. Light years ahead of it's time!

From: Remastered Reason Date: January 19, 2006 at 21:23
Mick Jones & Lou Gramm are to AOR music as much as what Mick Jagger & Keith Richards are to Rock & Roll music. Lennon & McCartney, Elton John & Bernie Taupen, & the list goes on. Talent plus chemistry equals success & this album has heaps of it. Foreigner was a band due to the sum of their parts. A Classic. Essential listening.

From: Carlos A. Date: July 1, 2006 at 12:41
Gtan inicio de esta historica banda. AOR setentero bastante digerible y con ese estilo unico ya presente, canciones como: Cold As Ice, Fool For You Anyway, Feels Like the First Time, hizo que este disco venda millones!! y su siguiente disco creo qes aun mejor...

From: ANR Date: March 6, 2007 at 9:12
Awesome album, one of the first AOR recordings ever I guess. Though I feel a "little" bit of EAGLES influence it doesn't reduce the values of this great disc! 10/10

From: juan carlos Date: June 8, 2007 at 10:12
De las conocidas ni nombrarlas, "Starrider" "The Damage Is Done" "Long, Long Way From Home" (que temazo éste ehh!) "Woman Oh Woman" (escalofriante final).. A esta joyaza mínimo le doy el 9/10.

From: Faron Date: August 28, 2009 at 19:25
One of the best ever debut albums! So many great songs on this, Cold As Ice though possibly overplayed is still great on the ears. Fool For You Anyway is my personal favourite on this album, Headknocker, Woman Oh Woman are excellent as well!

From: darobinson Date: March 8, 2010 at 18:22

From: hair metal again Date: June 10, 2011 at 11:06

From: rick kerch vzla Date: March 14, 2015 at 22:58
This was the beginning of a journey...Foreigner is one of the most emblematic AOR bands in history, actually Melodic Rock/AOR i'd say...this album opened the windows of success for the band with such classics as "Feels Like The First Time","Cold As Ice" & "Fool For You Anyway"(nice)...some other fine moments are tracks 4,6 & 7(another nice shot)...nothing else to say but recommended...88/100
