| Chris, is a goofy, good natured what you see, is what you get kind of guy. Producer Ric Browde said in 1984 he couldn't read or write (illiterate). I recently saw the documentary 'Mean Man: The Story of Chris Holmes (2021)'. It was fairly entertaining as of a couple years ago he was living and touring clubs in Europe living off the WASP glory years. He said it's better to live as a rock star in Europe, then to be a has been living in the states. He rehashes how Blackie Buck-le$$ screwed him out of song writing royalties and he showed WASP albums that his name was put on the album that he didn't even play on. Another ploy by Blackie to exploit Chris's popularity. Chris almost seems like a wounded adult talking about his father growing up as a child. He said of his time in WASP he never heard Blackie say once to him "good job" for his performances (all negative input). His solo albums are not my cup of tea, as his vocals are atrocious, but he's still a pretty good guitar player.
