2025 Heavy Harmonies Donation Drive Update
Nov. 24, 2025: Almost half way through the annual donation drive and we're
at almost 50% of the goal of covering site expenses for 2026. Most regulars
have already donated, so now it's up to everyone else. Costs
are up this year, no thanks to an unexpected forum move, which incurred additional expenses.
The drive will run through the end of the year, details over on the Heavy Harmonies Forum.
Every donation helps, no matter how small. If you can't afford $20 for the
year, give $10. If you can't afford $10, give $5. It's just once a year and
keeps the lights on.

CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Soto are also welcome to be added, as
long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

| Being fan of JSS and some of the other projects he is involved in, his new solo band is very diverse and dark metal oriented. Being the 1st album here, there are a lot moments that he really takes the metal notion a little to far incorporating nu-metal or modern rock to his sound and songs. Which is hard to muster through if you are a fan of JSS. This new sound and band is a bad attempt and combination of Black Label Society/Nickelback/Salvia all wrapped into one. Just didn't fair to well with me personally... HIGHLIGHT TRACKS: #2,4,8,12. MY RATING: 40/100.

| pretty good release for S.O.T.O. in a new somehow direction heavier and more serious but cant get too far from the JSS territory either!the result is ok but not great with "wrath","trance" and "jealousy" being the standout songs
